I’m needing a mylion lithium-ion battery. it looks just like yours, but mine has 2.2av, 11.1v, 24.42wh. will this work to replace mine? it’s on a 5 g

It should be OK, as long as the old battery is a Lithium ion battery. if it is not, then do NOT use! Lithium batteries require special charging, if over charged can cause a fire and/or cause a "rapid disassembly" (explode)! The slightly higher capacity 2% will give you that much more run time and is not an issue. Also make sure the physical size is the right fit.

Can this battery pack charge with a simple barrel plug and adapter, or does it need something with a battery management system?

If I recall it has battery discharge cutoff circuit so that means it has some BMS circuits in it. Also it only has 2 wires for charging so that usually means it has the circuitry. Follow the specs on max amps when charging and make sure polarity is correct. They connector style won't matter. Having said that, some don't like barrel connectors because it can be shorted while plugging in.

To be safe I want to install a fuse to the battery pack, what size fuse would I need?
