The quality is of a great standard, as to be expected from mega blocks, the additional moving parts like the windmill and peekaboo rolling animals keep my 18 month old well entertained, enjoying making them move and working them out. If anything I'd say the price is a bit high for how many parts you get, especially if buying on it's own. We bought a mega blocks table for toddlers to go with this purchase and happy using them together.

Gave this to my nephew to enjoy. He absolutely loves animals and the mega blocks set is perfect for little hands. The set is quite small but on the plus size it means less to clean up. The colours are bright and as an add on for other sets this would be great! My nephew loved the monkeys best though.

This is our first set of Mega Bloks and it has been great as a starter set. We used the box illustration to make it as pictured for a WOW introduction to our three year and then she was able to use the pieces in her own way. The bricks remind me of duplo style toys. They are bright, sturdy and a good size for our three year olds little hands. Lovely.

I’m a great fan of Mega Bloks and this ‘Animal Farm’ is suitable both as a starter kit or supplementary to other sets already owned. Pre-school children get a lot of pleasure out of fitting interlocking bricks together, building towers, knocking them down again, and so on. This set adds two animal heads that can sit on top of towers (or each other) and when fitted in that way take their hands from their eyes and produce a suitably surprised look. Great fun (if you are the right age for it!). There is a propeller too, and a ‘secret door’ that reveals another creature (a chicken). The blocks provide a learning experience for hands, fingers and brain, and a playground for the imagination. Everything is brightly coloured, not brittle, and – except for the moving parts of the two animal heads – easy to clean. The pieces are big enough for small hands to really get a grip of, and too big to swallow – accidentally or otherwise – so the toy is not subject to the usual ‘Not suitable for children under 36 months’. The manufacturer’s recommendation of ‘from 1 year old’ seems about right. A word to the wise, though. For my home nursery group this set serves to add some extra features and possibilities to the Mega Bloks Shape Sorting Wagon we already have. Besides plain building blocks, that has blocks of shapes that can be posted through matching holes (star, circle, square, etc.). Children as young as 18 months love to do that, and the cart is great for storage and for pulling around – loaded with a few cuddly friends, etc. as well as the blocks. So if you can afford the cart, or two or more family members could club together to buy it, that is my number one recommendation. These creatures and the propeller then become icing on the cake.

The Mega Bloks Animal Farm comes nicely boxed with a cute Peek-a-boo cow and chicken visible on top. The idea is that the animals are ball shaped and can roll down the slide around the farm. My 3 year old son and I had fun putting this together. The step by step instructions are in images and child friendly. I love how the blocks feel very solid and sit in place really well so that it keeps its structure whilst playing. My son did have some trouble pulling the pieces apart but it is new and perhaps the pieces have more give after a few plays. My son loved making the animals peekaboo by setting them down on top of the blocks and enjoyed the baby chicken reveal. We do not have any other Mega bloks but after my son has enjoyed playing with this set so much, I am tempted to extend his collection so that the play can expand. There are limitations to this set being that the amount of pieces are minimal and pretty much confined to the suggested builds to be able to make the most of them. On the other hand, it is clearly a well made and thought-out set which a toddler-preschool age range would very much enjoy.

Amazing product great for the kids they love it the mega blocks are great for small kids works they won't be able to put those big pieces in their mouths and they can really enjoy the product payrolls it's very easy to use easy to put together and therefore making it very convenient for the children whatever age they may be actually I would recommend it to any ages or above 1 plus because kids start to mess around with this stuff and they would really enjoy something like this personally I would recommend it! great product and honestly it's worth it!
