Is this an actual Amazon fire stick remote or is it a third party knock off?

Definitely a knock off! Complete trash! Doesn't matter what you do it don’t and won’t work. Don’t order this trash stick honestly it’s a waste of money and time

Can buy a power cord for my tv for the 2nd gen firestick that i recently purchased?

Should be able to buy power cord for t.v. also for the fire stick either for usb to fire stick or electrical power to firestick

Won't connect to fire cube. Pressing Home for 10 seconds. Light flashes, but nothing happens. Any way to fix this?!

Not really, the remote tells the firestick to talk to the tv for those actions. Go through the setup again, and it's possible your tv (if it's old) doesn't talk the talk. Anything with full HDMI should be able to talk with the firestick. That's why you don't need to point remote. bluetooth to the firestick which has HDMI to the TV.
