This is an excellent product for skin problems -- pressure sores and raw, sore skin. Heals very quickly and is a great protective barrier for any kind of moisutre-caused skin issues. Wonderful ointment for the price.

My 6mo had a severe diaper rash after starting daycare. It was worse than any other rash she’d had and the prescribed compound wasn’t doing the trick. A nurse practitioner (and mama of 5) recommended Calmoseptine and after just one use, I already knew why. My poor baby was so fussy and the cooling effect seems to be really soothing— both to a fussy baby and to an inflamed diaper area! I layered this with the nystatin-based compound on top and what seemed like a nightmare of a rash was not much more than redness and a few bumps within a couple days. It truly heals broken, red, dry and inflamed skin and in the most delicate areas. I bought a tube for daycare/diaper bag and the tub for at home— making it super easy to get enough in one go to cover the area, swiftly of course. If I could recommend one product for baby diaper care this would be it!

I had severe itching redness and rawness in my rectal area. I went to the doctor and suffered through the humiliation of having him inspect it, and then having him apply several extremely burning solutions to it that didn't cure anything, He changed my diet, and had me use Balneol rectal cleansing lotion on my toilet tissue. I applied it after every shower, after every bowel movement, and every night before I went to bed -- just a little to cover the area. In THREE DAYS EVERYTHING WAS NOT ONLY ITCH FREE, BUT THE REDNESS AND RAWNESS WERE GONE ALSO! This is a HUGE deal for me. I literally couldn't tell you when the last time I had everything healed and itch free down there. It was a chronic thing that went on for several years, and this stuff got rid of it in three days. To me, it simply was MIRACULOUS! I also got some redness and rawness due to jock itch, and after the success from the other areas on my body, I tried it on the jock itch and THAT went away as well. Don't even give buying this stuff a second thought. It is fantastic, amazing, miraculous -- pick your own adjective -- and just buy it now. I'll always have this in my medicine cabinet from now on, and I highly recommend it!

This is a must for irritation in areas where dampness causes irritation. It is cool and helps heal. Diaper rash and (adult diaper rash) ha ha

It's excellent. How do I take it with me in my purse without taking gloves? Because if I use my hands to apply this, I can’t pull up my pants without getting white on my pants. Even though I try to wipe it off my fingers 1st. I was using plastic gloves at 1st, but that makes me go through the disposable ones too quickly.

I purchased this after it being highly recommended after having hemorrhoid removal surgery and omg it is life changing. It definitely helps alleviate a little bit of the pain with the cooling sensation and makes things not feel so raw down there.
