Nice DIY coating
I purchased this kit for 1 year old Tesla Model Y and had a pleasant experience with it. Prep: Washed car with Adam's wax remover car wash (strip wash) x 2 times, used Adams iron remover and a clay cloth, used Meguiar's M205 with a DA Polisher to take away Car Guys hybrid wax sealant (lesson learnt: from now on, I will ceramic coat a car when purchased and not wait a year, in order to skip this laborious step! - tip: you can stop here and carry over with the next steps into the next day to avoid being too tired) - then used surface prep provided within the kit. Followed the instructions and started ceramic coating process. Pros: 1. Easy to apply, I am a novice and had no issues with overall process. A professional job costs upwards of $1700 so I really wanted to do a DIY coating project in order to save money. YouTube tutorials really helped. 2. Extremely hydrophobic, highly allergic to water! washed car after 10 days of application - the water just ran off the back of car and side panels, seemed there was no water on them at all. Rest of car had water beads. 3. Reasonably priced 4. Left a dark, rich finish on tires and black plastic trim on outside of the car, along with a coat of protection. 5. Had ordered an extra kit, just in case. It was enough to do a second car - 11 year old Corolla - pics uploaded.. Cons: 1. There is no way you can apply the coating liquid evenly. Hence some areas within 3x3 ft patch will be ready to wipe sooner than other areas. Coating does not dry evenly, so it takes some time to know the behavior of the coating. I had to take off the product in time, so as not to leave high spots. Hence, I thought some areas, which appeared wetter, would have lost their coat while wiping off. This is not so, the coating is still there. But still, since I had ordered an extra kit (just in case...) I went ahead and coated the car once again about 2 hours after initial coat. This is not recommended by manufacturer, but eventually it left me with a thick coat of protection and did not cause any issues with the shine and finishing. I just wish this product dried more evenly.... especially so as not to cause anxiety in first timers like me! 2. [not sure if this is exactly a con] Will not leave a shine like like a wax polish does (but does leave a darn good shine though!), and the coat is not as smooth to touch as a wax polish. To counter this, I applied the supplied ceramic boost after 10 days of curing and continued with Adams graphene detail spray after washes. Overall good experience. I just want to be done with the ceramic coating process, hope with the detail spray application, this indeed last for 7 years as the manufacturer claims. I just wanted to be done with one coating process until I sell the car 6-7 years from now, hence chose this product. Hopefully everything will work out!

Great quality coating. Easy to use!
This kit is fantastic. Especially if you’ve never applied a ceramic coating. It comes with all the necessary tools like surface prep spray, microfiber towel, microfiber applicators, and graphene boost. And that’s not all! The fact that this product has a UV tracking system, it makes it so easy to use the blacklight the kit comes with to double check your work. Very simple and easy application. After I applied it, I allowed the coating to cure for the recommend 12 hours and let me tell you, the results were fantastic. Not only did the vehicle have such a fantastic shine, it restored the vibrancy of the paint. Maybe even made it look better than the day it left the showroom. I love that the coating lasts for over half a decade. Actually almost nearly a decade! Can’t beat the durability of this product.

Not great, but good.
Purchased the UV complete kit. Watched YT videos. No issues with application. I live in WA, park car outside uncovered year round, and get a lot of rain. It took me around 4 hrs to complete. The UV light is a necessity. Was happy with initial results. Professional shops have quoted me $500-$700 to apply this to my Audi a8l. And want to keep car overnight. So I'm glad I saved the time and money and did it my self. It only lasted 2 years in my situation. I really wasn't expecting the whole 7 yrs and I doubt if it last that long in any situation but a control environment. Not mad at price either. Decent value. kit does come with some good quality towels. The UV light uses a lot of batteries.

I'm pleasantly surprised but their is a issue
After watching a lot of YouTube trying to find a ceramic coating for my car I came across a video showing off this product after seeing the ease of use an the length of protection I had to buy it. The prep has a pleasant grape scent, the graphene coating glowing under the high uv flashlight really helps get complete coverage especially when I only have 2 hours of shade before it's to dark to work on a car, an my only gripe is the ceramic booster spray for after the graphene coating it leaves a terrible residue spotting that would not buff off after 4 attempts to try an buff it off I had no luck. But the car looks wet I could see a rainbow in my hood on a slight over cast day. It came out looking great. Can't wait to see the water repellent effects when I take it for it's first wash in a few week. The guys who work the car wash love the effect on my nissan an now my audi is the same way.

Repels water like no traditional wax I have ever used.
I applied this ceramic coating 3 weeks ago, and it took until today for it to rain. I left my workplace to find it looking like this. Application was a little difficult, but after the third panel, it got easier, especially if you use the UV light provided in the kit as you go. If you screw it up, they have a video on YouTube explaining how to correct it. You need to have some easily obtainable products and equipment, but once you do, it's easy. Probably only have to worry about it if you have a dark color car (mine is black). Professional application of a product like this can be very expensive (think $1000+). With some patience and willingness to DIY, you'll save a ton of money. Longevity is still a question mark, but even the best carnauba wax will maybe last a year. Anything longer than that is a huge plus for me, but they claim 7+ years for this product...
