CloudBuyer 108 Ft Double Sided Mounting Tape Heavy Duty, Waterproof Foam Adhesive for LED Strips & Home Office Decor (0.39In, Black)

I bought this to attach wainscoting inside a motorhome. I placed strips about six to eight inches apart, and the tape adheres well, at least initially. Time will tell how well it holds up, especially with the heat that often comes through the walls of the motorhome. I also used it to attach some trim above the wainscoting, and it also works well there, so well that when I placed one trim piece wrong I had to use a putty knife to separate it from the wall only seconds after applying it. One complaint I read in several reviews is that the red backing is difficult to remove from the tape. The answer is to use a razor knife; the razor blade easily slides between the tape and the backing, making removal easy. Overall, this is good tape for common applications. It isn’t the same as genuine 3M VHB tape (which I used to mount solar panels on the roof of the motorhome), but it is much cheaper; many applications don’t need the expensive 3M tape.

Great tape to use. Very durable and has held things on the wall with ease without them falling down. Doesn't leave any marks on the wall after removing. Great tape and easy to use!

I was originally a bit worried, this ISNT 3M tape. Actually, its marked in a way to possibly imply it is...However, it is sticky as 3M, and I will attest this roll is an extremely generous 108ft. I put it on a 125ft LED string and had 20ft left. I either scored on tape, or got robbed on LED's..... I measured the LED's and they were dead on 125. All we have to do now is wait and see if it life-cycles like 3M.

I used the 0.39" tape to mount SK6812 LED strips to felt headliner and powdercoat. I haven't put it to real use yet but nothing has sagged yet. With that being said, I don't think this is a true "3M" product. It might say "3" and "M" on it but they arent next to each other like a 3M product should. There is also a random "W" on the peel. The membrane seems a bit more 'gummy' than VHB tape as well.

This stuff has kept my tapestries and led lights up in my room for 3 years now!

Sticks as expected, using under a deck railing for strip lights. Good price, decent quality. Will see if it holds when it gets cold.

The double sided tape is not the best one doesn’t stick very well so be aware of it and get you a roll extra roll of double sided tape specially for the small width of this product. Careful when you apply it and you have to take it off it rips apart quickly and get damaged. Otherwise it’s easy to use the qualities decent. The sickness is OK. Stickiness of the adhesive is not good for the use on wood.

Excellent double sided tape. it worked perfectly hanging led rope lights to my house.

Big roll, will last a while for me. One problem is the tape is thin and very soft. It’s difficult to pull the red backing tape from actual tape and it’s very stretchy, making it hard to position.

save your money product old stock. have to drive 50 kl to return it . more expensive to return than to eat the cost myself. in past we could return at post office . not an option now.
