This is perfect if you know what you're getting into. This is a mini safe. It's very basic box to increase privacy deter theft by reducing temptation and knowledge of what's in here the first place. How long would this take a trained lock pick to pick this? 5 seconds. How long would it take someone with a good mallet and screwdriver to knock this open? Maybe 3 minutes on a bad day. How long to cut the tether designed to anchor this thing in place? 15 seconds with bolt cutters. It's basically a glorified metal lunchbox. But that's FINE If you're going to fault it for this, you're missing the point. It's $20 and weighs just 1.5 lbs. If you wanted this to be better then it'd be an entirely different. It lets you tote things around in a way that someone who wants to do you wrong really has to be overtly committed to doing you wrong. It's great for making sure important stuff like a passport or social security card doesn't get thrown away by small children. Or a dodgy (but not incredibly criminal) employee of yours doesn't pilfer your petty cash in a moment of weakness. I will note it gets rather tight on the inside especially with the insert provided, just 5.25 inches in width, barely fits a CD case. The insert pops out and you can get closer to 5.9 inches on the bare metal interior.

This is a quality medium size security box. I like the included cable that helps attach it to a safe place. The key lock is better for me than the combination other boxes have. Very nice outer finish and soft lining inside. Well worth the price!

Wish it was sturdier.

Sentry has been making small safes for a long time. this one has a lot of uses for it. It is great to for safely storing a small compact firearm. like a Glock 43, or anything it size. I have both sentry safes one with a key and one with a combo. You can al so use the steel cable so no one can just walk away with it. Great to lock up your wallet or spare cash and keys. too. many uses.

The size is perfect for traveling. Not heavy so it's perfect for carry-on. Held wallets, medicine bottles and documents while on the cruise. Fit perfectly in the room safe for extra security.

Received one that looked used. The lock never turned when the key was in it. Chipped paint on the corner so I know they sent me a used one. I have high hopes in this product because it is the only thing that fits in my wife's suv middle console. I asked for a new one and still have not received any word on its shipment...

I purchased 2 and would repurchase items again! I was looking for a smaller box bt this was smallest I could find, in this particular style/look. So far so good and I use 1 of them multiple times a week

I use this safe every day to keep my personal items locked up. It's the perfect size and the inside material is soft.

the box and the wire are bigger, stronger than they look on the pictures. They are perfect for things of value during a trip ...or when you have a "nosy" roommate.
