I have thick asian hair, that can be very stubborn to holding a curl, and this iron has always done the trick without using too much heat! I had this iron originally years ago, but got sucked up into the world of YouTubers/haulers and consumerism and purchased curlers for $300+ .. a few years later , many many many dollars later and a few permanent ugly burn scars ... in back here with this iron. & for 60$ you cannot beat the quality an maneuverability of this iron! It’s so easy to use., effective , cheap and lasts for a long time ( from experience ) Highly highly highly recommend

The item is not working. Used it once, and now it’s not heating.

Bought it for my girlfriend because her old iron was not hot enough for her straight Asian hair. She likes it because it gives nice curly waves, but not too curly that makes her look extra, but wavy enough to look natural and a little bit of sass. Holds curls better than her old one without any hairspray. She said it would hold better if she added hairspray. Pretty good quality she says. No squeaky noise with the clamp. She does wish that there was a like indicator that tells you that It's fully hot and ready. She had to look up instructions to see her long it takes for it to great up properly which she found annoying. All in all, great professional quality curler.
