Excellent germination rate. Started at 3 days.
I have grown marigolds in the past with success, and used seeds from spent blooms to provide an ongoing seed supply back then. These seeds started sprouting at three days, and as shown in two attached snapshots at six days, are doing great before thinning will soon be done. I am confident that I will have a couple of great patches of these marigolds blooming in a few weeks. UPDATE 5/14/22: Added photos taken at 14 days after planting seeds, and soon after thinning first seedlings sprouted. Looking great. Keeping soil slightly moist in midst of hot, 90°F-plus temperatures and full midday sun. Watering lightly with very light spray morning, midday, and at sunset. Miracle-Gro Potting Mix used at planting of seeds will hopefully encourage good growth and blooms. UPDATE 6/1/22: Looking great in their 4 feet by 4 feet beds just 32 days after planting seeds. I am keeping the soil moist enough to not dry out, plucking occasional weed sprouts now and then, and performed just one thinning as previously described. They may be just a little crowded, but I like the look, and will wait to decide whether to thin, again, based on how they grow and bloom. I plan to apply MiracleGro Bloom Booster soon to maximize blooms when they begin within a couple of weeks or so. Not a lot of work. Just morning, mid-day, and evening light waterings to moisten soil down into the roots and plenty of sun bracketed by morning and evening shade, as previously described. Wrestling a little with off and on Texas heat wave, but just keeping a daily eye on them and their soil. FINAL UPDATE 7/1/2022 (9 weeks after seeds planted): Plants are healthy and now up to four feet tall and are starting to bloom beautifully (see latest photos above. Sorry about the blueish tint of the leaves in some photos. They are actually very green. Also, the color of the blooms is accurate). The initial budding began recently, right about the 8 weeks mark after seed planting on 4/30/2022, as was indicated and predicted by NatureZ Edge, the seller of the seeds. I am thrilled to see the rewards of my efforts coming to the fore. My neighbor and friend's precious 3-year-old granddaughter is just learning to appreciate the beauty of flowers, gardens, and nature, generally. She is about to enjoy seeing and picking from this treasure trove of beautiful summer marigolds that has now started to bloom for many good weeks to come. It is all a worthwhile effort, after all. Thanks, again to NatureZ Edge and Amazon! I am a happy customer. I hope this has been helpful, and that you can now create with confidence, a little work, a little TLC, and patience your own beautiful display of marigolds from these quality, proven seeds. All the best!

Good purchase
I sowed these seeds last week and they are a good few inches sprouted and working on true leaves. Good batch. They will be beautiful and helpful to keep insects away.

Petite French Marigold perfection!
Exactly as described. 99% germination. 100% perfect. I would definitely buy these again. The colors are beautiful. They were easy to grow. They're very petite as the title insinuates. These petite french marigolds are just adorable. The bees love them and the butterflies too. I appreciate them very much. Definitely worth the money. And you get lots of them. They have a fantastic Marigold smell which also deters other insects from the plants I have near them. They seem very healthy despite the fact that sometimes we have drought situations here in Northeast Georgia. We also have days of rain and it doesn't seem to give root rot. The variety of colors are really nice. I highly recommend them.

Easy to grow
These were very simple to grow. Germination was easy, but there has been no flowers blooming yet. They are growing fast and tall. I have them outside of the after they have hardened. And they're taking up well.

Lovely and reliable
I bought this bag last year and planted seeds in several locations. I can't say if every seed sprouted, as I tend to toss out a handful or several. However, I definitely had LOTS of these Marigolds sprout and they filled up the planters I put them into. This year I tossed out a handful of these seeds and forgot I had planted them. A week later I tossed out another handful into the same bed. The next day, when I went to water I noticed I had a lot of baby plants. Turns out that those were from the seeds I spread the week before! Now I have A LOT of Marigolds in that planter! lol! I'm planing on tossing out a lot more of these seeds into some flower beds I have prepared, now. Very happy with these Marigolds!

They do grow. But are HUGE plants, no flowers yet
(Photo) I planted Dahlias in the middle of the flower bed and a border of these marigold seeds in the front. The marigold plants are as tall if not taller than the Dahlias, they are still growing, and I'm still waiting on any of the marigold plants to flower. All the flowers you see in that photo are Dahlias. If you want giant green bushes that you'll eventually have to stake up cause their weight will cause them to topple over in a heavy rain then these are your ticket! If you were hoping to get "petite" marigolds with bursts of bright orange yellow and red blooms in you garden then these are not for you. Yes, I'm betting 80% of the seeds spouted. The problem is the plants have taken over everything and aren't bothering to reward me with any flowers - despite full sun and fertilizer. They keep growing, some are at 4 feet tall with no blossoms in sight.

Great seeds
Excellent seeds. I got an abundant, beautiful crop. Not only that, I collected the new seeds from the flower heads in late fall, and now I have almost double what I bought to replant this year. As they are already adapted to my environment, I will get an equally abundant crop this summer.
