Replacement Key Fob Cover Case fit for Range Rover Evoque Velar Discovery Land Rover LR4 LR2 Sport and Jaguar XF XJ XE F-PACE F-Type Smart Keyless Entry Key Fob Shell

Bought it for a 2017 LandRover Discovery Sport key fob. Looks absolutely amazing and almost oem. Only missing the Land Rover logo on the back of the fob but for obvious reasons they can't put it on.

Looks and works like the real Jaguar Fab. No problem and the price is great.

Really only wanted the silver bit that we lost from Jaguar XE car key. Terrible design and we finally lost it. Bought this low-cost new key. Made in China. Does not have Jaguar insignia (not bothered) nor the internal key that you would use if battery were lost. Other than that, it looks well-made and near identical to the original. We did not get it programmed which may have been a completely different issue. The little silver fits perfectly so my mission accomplished. Will keep the rest of the new key just in case but suspect it will never get used and at $12 you cannot go wrong should we lose the silver thing again.

2020 jaguar, f-pace key fob shell -- it is as described. unfortunately, the silver cover that holds/protects the actual key was EXTREMELY difficult to place on the fob once all of the interior components were installed. luckily, my fiance was able to force it into place. AND the rubber skin on the back of the fob is flapping so I will probably super glue it in place, as well. will I purchase again.? absolutely not. do I recommend.? only if you are willing to put forth the extra effort to make it work. is it worth the price.? not after putting forth the extra time, energy, and resources to make it fully functional. do the buttons function well.? yes.

I love how easy it was to assemble my key works perfect now

Luckily I have engineering experience and modified it. The problem I’m finding most are having as well as myself is that the plastic grooves on the inside of the piece do not line up and the metal piece on the end does not line up, nor does it slide down due to the grooves not being wide enough. If you have a Dremel tool with small attachments and a steady hand you can easily modify it so that the grooves drop into the right place. Hope that helps. If you’re not good with using tools and find it a pain to return it I would highly recommend not purchasing this. Oh, and the quality of the material is no where near the quality of the OEM original remote. It’s a very cheap knock off. I’d recommend buying a new key from the dealer if you want a legit one.

I paid $45 for THE SILVER JAGUAR CAP ONLY! Had I known I could get the entire device cover for such great quality and low price I NEVER would a purchase the Jaguar brand cover. It is a total rip-off! There is no difference outside of the inscription between these two case shells.

Key fob is great

This is nothing like the original despite the photos and the description. The original one has a rubber overlay with the buttons. This one is hard plastic with rubber buttons which are harder than the originals. I put the interior assembly into the replacement fob and it did not fit exactly and the buttons did not function correctly. There are two plastic pins which stop the module going into and is critical for the buttons to operate properly so this replacement fob is useless and I returned it back to Amazon for a refund.
