Unfortunately, these MOSFETS do not live up to expectation for a IRLB8721PBF. I have been using these with an Arduino Nano 33 IOT which uses 3.3v logic to control RGB strip lights. Based on the specification for an IRLB8721PBF, they should be fully fit-for-purpose for controlling via 3.3v logic, however my experience of these has proved otherwise (all of them in the pack were tested). I have purchased the "same" component from Farnell, and it performs as expected - enabling my LED strip lights fully controllable via Arduino 3.3v logic. I would claim that these items are not performing as specified or advertised, and I would suggest buyer beware if your use case is 3.3v related.

I found these have a break down voltage between 12-15V, not the 30v stated on the data sheet. This means they’re of limited use to me.

J'ai l'habitude de travailler avec ces transistors pour du arduino, transformer les signaux 3.3v en 12v pour des leds. Ceux ci ne se comportent pas du tout comme des IRLB8721 commandé chez un grossiste. Je n'ai pas d'outils de mesure à portée de main, mais le voltage moyen ou l'intensité de sortie ne correspond pas a mes attentes, les leds sont 10 fois moins brillantes avec ceux ci qu'avec des originaux. Je dis originaux car vu la différence de comportement et la difference de gravure par rapport a ceux qui marchent, il est probable qu'on ai affaire à d'une contrefaçon

Ich habe die IRLB8721 MOSFETs für ein DIY-Projekt mit Arduino und LED-Streifen gekauft. Sie funktionieren einwandfrei, schalten sauber durch und werden bei normaler Last kaum warm. Die Lieferung war schnell und alle Bauteile kamen unbeschädigt an. Für kleine bis mittlere Anwendungen mit 5 V Steuerspannung sind sie ideal – auch im Low-Side Switching. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier definitiv. Würde ich für künftige Projekte wieder nehmen.

Mit einer 3,3V Steuerspannung schaltet der Mosfet nicht durch. Laut Datenblatt sollte er bei 2V schon durchschalten. Er ist nur mit einem zusätzlichen Treiber bei 3,3V Pegeln brauchbar.
