Watch the Sizing and Pricing
This is among the best olive oils. I would not use this for cooking but as a finishing oil and for salads. Pay careful attention to the size you are buying. I had bought Alziari for years at Williams Sonoma some time ago. The price online was about what I had paid at Williams Sonoma. I ordered several cans but when they came each container was less than half the size I had been buying at Williams Sonoma. So, pay careful attention to the size you are getting. This was my bad--the size was published; I had simply proceeded on the incorrect assumption I was buying the same size I had always bought. Wrong. Summary: the oil is very good but the price, expensive to begin with, is now sky high--I'd say the price for this oil has doubled within 5-6 years. Finally, I don't think Amazon and its partners, which have excellent prices on many items, have competitive prices on top notch olive oils. Olive oil is comparatively heavy and my guess is far more expensive to ship, which may contribute to what I perceive as poorly competitive prices for olive oil. Olive oil may be something to buy locally because you are not going to get a price break; the product is expensive; and, you will have better communication with a knowledgeable local purveyor.

Best olive oil!
This has the best flavor. Not bitter like some. Reminds me of the olive oil I brought home from Italy. Pricey but worth it.

Delicious
This is my go-to olive oil for a quick drizzle on greens with a bit of sea salt. It is also perfect as a finishing oil. Yes, it is pricey, but some things are worth the splurge, and this is one of them!

Damaged container. Not returnable
Product tin can of oil sent in a plastic envelope without padding, not a box. Container mangled. UNRETURNABLE ITEM! Lame Great olive oil, but Amazon packaged very badly! Refund please!

Olive Oil
We love this stuff! In my twenties, I stayed at the Alzarian home in Nice. Nicolas Alzarian is/was my friends grandfather. I was so surprised to see their product show up in Los Angeles and we started buying it and continue to buy it today in Idaho!

mild flavor
i discovered this olive oil several years ago when my father in law was being treated for throat cancer, i was looking for an olive oil that would help with his dry mouth so of course wanted to find one that was tasty enough to drink. this totally fit the bill ! has an almost sweet flavor. a friend recently was diagnosed with the same cancer so i sent them this to help with the same dry mouth issue. they love it! of course it's great to cook with too ;)
