Smooth and consistent
As a teacher, these are my absolute favorite red pens. They last a long time, no smudges, no explosions. They write smooth and are very consistent.

Writes smoothly but coating flakes off
After using these pens for a couple of months, I think they write well but the coating on each of my pens flakes off. The pens also leak a bit onto my hands when I'm using them for a while, but that may be user error.

The rollerball pens are awesome! No bleed through, they always write smoothly, no globbing. These are the owner's favorite pens. He will use these over other more expensive name-brand pens every single time!
