CAB55 Sewing Machine Case - Carrying Bag with Removable Padding, Tote for Machine and Accessories

I have a Singer C5200 sewing and quilting machine, and it's bigger than most standard sewing machines. This bag not only holds my sewing machine perfectly, it also holds the extra extension table attachment as is if was custom made just for my big machine. I put the foot and presser pedal fit perfectly in one of the side pockets with room to spare. The side pockets hold a lot. The front pocket holds a lot too with several compartments, as well as the top flap has several compartments to hold sewing supplies. It's just right for carrying a machine, attachments, a few patterns, some fabric, thread and supplies to a class or for me, from one room to another. Whether I'm working in my home office sewing or upstairs in the dining room, it's just right to carry the essentials as well as store the machine between uses. I ordered a competitor's bag first because I have several of their other craft bags and have been very happy with them, and sent it back because it wouldn't hold the extension table even though I measured everything carefully to confirm fit. Neither the side pockets or the top flap pockets would hold the presser foot and cord, I would have had to put it in the bag between the motor and the arm, and that's no good. None of it suited my needs, I was so disappointed because XL bags were over $100... Until I found this one! And it's absolutely PERFECT!

Great quality. It is very durable. Has pockets for the items of your choice. Yes, that's right you don't have to use it as a sewing machine case. It's versatile you can remove the shoulder strap if you want. Comes in many colors. This bag /case is stitch well with heavy duty threads. It's well worth the money you pay for it, and it will last a long time. By the way it is light weight. Just don't overload it books. If you do, then you will need to change out the O rings to heavy duty ones to use the Shoulder straps. This bag/case is waterproof on the outside.

I have a Singer 4432 and this case fits well. The case itself is made of a soft sided fabric that can be folded flat if not in use. You can not set anything on top of the case (like if you have it in a closet and want to put a box or something on top of it)as there is no support to the case sides. The main area will hold most sewing machines, as it has a large rectangle space not specific to any one brand of sewing machine. There is a "bottom" that folds down to give support and stiffens up the case. The lid in this area has 2-zippered compartments for small items. The outer end pockets are large enough for the foot pedal to go in to. The front zippered pouch has plenty of storage for you commonly used items. There is a shoulder strap for ease of carrying, but if you take this to classes or travel you can actually set this on a suitcase with an extending handle and the sewing case has a slot to slide over that handle and it will stay in position (not that I will use that feature, but others may). Overall I am very happy with this case and would definitely buy it again.

My Janome 4120QDC fits inside beautifully with room to spare for supplies that may not fit in the pockets, such as a wool felt pressing pad, some fabric, etc. A 12" x 18" cutting mat will also fit in the main compartment with a slight, gentle bend. I just received it and have not begun putting anything in the pockets, but they are plentiful, and I am glad the interior pockets are made of netting rather than stiff clear plastic. As other reviewers have noted, the bottom of the bag has a pad but it is not a firm, rigid surface. Maybe I can get a piece of pegboard or something rigid and lightweight cut to fit. I deliberately chose a bag with no wheels because the wheels on my existing large bag are horrible (a JoAnn's purchase years ago). This bag does have a sleeve to fit over the handle of a separate cart so for the time being I will use the shoulder strap or handles but may get a separate luggage cart later. The bag arrived in perfect condition and all the zippers work smoothly. I would really like a tall deep pocket or a strap system that would hold a 6 1/2" x 24 1/2" ruler securely, but I have not found any bag with such a feature so my backpack will remain in service for now. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I am going to confess, I don't use this for a sewing machine. I play Dungeons and Dragons and use this to carry / store my dice and books. The bag is strong, has TONS of space to store everything I need and I love the color. My only "complaint" is that the fabric the bag is resistant to cuts and tears, which makes my cats think its a scratching post.

Well made and roomy, great assortment of pockets to organise sewing supplies. Supportive base; strong, yet light construction. I like that the bag itself is not heavy, so it doesn't add a lot of 'tare weight' to the bag before it is loaded with sewing machine, accessories & sewing supplies. The zip down front opening pocket is very handy to easily access sewing supplies and the almost full circumference top lid makes taking the sewing machine out and packing it away very easy. Although it would have been nice to have a few other solid colours to choose from for this product, I like that this product is not made with a 'girly' print fabric.

Sehr funktionale Nähmaschinentasche, die man sogar auch als Reisetasche zweckentfremden könnte. Sehr gut sind die vielen Taschen/Verstaumöglichkeiten. Gut ist auch, das die Tasche zusammenklappbar ist und die Möglichkeit bietet, sie auf einem Trolley zu befestigen. Leider lässt der Seitenhalt der Tasche zu wünschen übrig. Der Deckel und sie Seiten sind m. E. nicht formstabil genug. Mal sehen, wie sie nach längerer Benutzung aussieht. Von daher ist für mich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mittelmäßig und die Haltbarkeit wird sich zeigen.
