Rapid 20726010 R19 Fine Wire Hammer Tacker,Chrome

Needed to install some fiberglass batt insulation and I have a hammer stapler but it is a very heavy one, not like the ones I see the professional insulators use. At first I purchased a Bostich based on the pictures but it turned out to be just about as heavy as the one I already have. I returned that one and got this and it is the ticket for insulation. Light and nimble, never jammed once. Uses very thin staples, but it sinks them every time no problem. Definitely happy with this tool.

I've been using Rapid 19's for over 20 years. It's so easy to load up 4 or 5 of them and run through a big job switching as they empty, then doing one mass reload at the end. The light design allows for carrying multiple tackers with less weight than the other heavy and cumbersome tackers on the market. They are great for tacking asphalt paper, housewrap, and tyvek; as well as 1/4" fanfold insulation. Heavy daily use will eventually wear them out but well worth the cost for the number of staples you can put through them.

Amazing stapler for siding but likes to break alot, but so does every other stapler.

My wife says this works well for her classroom poster boards and has had no problems using it at all. Quality- It seems like it will last.

I'm a professional home builder and purchased this Rapid 19 Tack Hammer because of it's small size and lighter weight, the original Rapid tach hammers made in Sweden used to be a quality tool, not no more! In the past 3 months I have gone through 2 of these staple hammers, they get jammed up and break so easily they are a complete waste of money! I thought I might have got a bad one the first time around but the same thing happened to the second within the 1st week of use! Try the larger size Rapid RC11 if you have to buy this brand but stay far away from the Rapid 11.

I love this tool. It gets used a lot and still going strong after years of use. Easy to use.

I’ve used many slap staplers in the past. These do not jam. I have put about 7 boxes of staples through them without one misfire or jam.

If you are stapling building paper,paper backed insulation, vapour barrier plastic, this is the best stapler available on the market. I was put onto this stapler years ago by an insulation installer with arthritis, as you can staple with two fingers because the stapler is so light and easy to use. The other advantage of the low weight is it doesn't break the plastic or paper.

Absolutely my favourite hammer tacker. I use it to attach tyvek housewrap prior to siding homes. Its light and doesnt puncture holes.like the big t50 hammer tackers when it's empty

Perfect for what I needed it for

I just bought this with the staples 2 weeks ago. I bought it for stapling poly in low rise, and chose this one because its lighter than my previous. I just went to use it today and only one staple comes out and then it jams. A waste of time and money. I will definitely be sending this back. Poor workmanship in terms of the mechanism. Stay away from this product.
