Funny that the printed book is the correct one. I'm glad I saw the complete study guide first as this book assumes you know the material. I was confused for a minute because the complete study guide is for the 815 and 816 exams while this is for the 819. Then I remembered that Oracle merged and renamed the exam! Practice Practice
This book is full of practice questions to get ready for the Java 11 cert test. All the chapters have questions that look like they could be on the exam. They even tell you how many answers are correct like the exam does. And the questions are fun to read. I noticed a bunch of errors on the online questions that were correct in the book. That seemed strange so I asked the publisher. They said an earlier version of the book was used when creating the online questions and they are working on getting it fixed. Very important book to learn Java - but requires Study Guide too
Java has gotten too complex. Using this book will help you to not only pass the exam, but also to learn Java well. However this is a companion book to the study guide and one must purchase that also in order to make sense of these tests. The study guide will teach you the knowledge. This book contains the tests.

The online test bank with the book is invaluable
If you are sitting either 1Z0-819 or 1Z0-817 this book works for you. If you are just doing the upgrade exam then you can ignore questions in chapters 2, 10, 11 and 13 to make your life easier. You can use the books 900+ questions or register with the online test bank where the same questions appear and enable you to customise exams according to topic and number of questions. The only thing I cannot say yet is how realistic the questions are with regard to the real exam. I have tried two other simulators: whizlabs and one on udemy and they all vary a bit. I was hoping for some more reviews here telling me this but I will update this review once I sit the exam - hopefully by October 2021

Buen libro
Todavía no acabo el libro, pero se ve completo y sí está enfocado al 1z0-819. Lo que no me gustó es que el papel es de menor calidad que la de libros de otras certificaciones viejas de la misma editorial
