The heatsink is pushing against my case side panel. Do any of you have the same issue?

Mine just barely touches but not pushing. Some people have reported the product being bent on delivery. So if its only one side of the radiator touching then this is probably the same issue.

Is there are compatible asus rog z490i m/b and gskill trident z rgb ram?

If you stick with the stock fan, the trident z will fit. Cooler has no problems fitting on that motherboard if you remove the m.2 heatsink cover.
