Inflatable T-rex Costume

I don't know how I lived without this thing! It is so much fun and never fails to bring a smile to someones face... so much more than just a Halloween costume! First, I would like to say something about the reviews complaining about the battery pack that comes with it... I would understand if the manufacturer claimed that everything worked in a top-notch fashion and no substitutes or supplements were needed... But they do not claim that... In fact, they say, in several places, not only in their description online but also in the instructions that come with the suit, that it is recommended that an alternative battery pack is used. It is my opinion, that the battery pack they include, that requires actual batteries, is just in case someone does not happen to have an alternative battery pack but would still like to try to use the suit. I believe they have offered the best options that they can provide and still be able to offer this suit at this price. My suit came with the upgraded fan but seeing as I actually read the instructions and online description, I decided to use a fairly nice solar-powered battery pack that I purchased from Amazon previously and haven't even tried using the battery pack that came with it. I clipped mine it to a lanyard around my neck and it worked great! They make it very clear that the battery pack that is included may not be high-powered enough to provide the results desired or last for an extended period of time. If you do not have an alternative source of power to use, I would suggest doing what I did and take the time to apply some waterproofing spray along all of the seams. Yes, it takes some time, effort, and about two cans of spray... but I believe it was totally worth it as it helps hold air inside the suit very well and relieves the fan of extra work, which translates into more battery power.... I haven't tried it, but I would be confident in saying that with a sealed suit and a quality battery pack that had a full charge, you could probably wear the suit for 48 hours or more before needing to recharge with no problem. Some have said that the color of the fan is distracting but if you take some brown or green paint (depending on the color of your suit) and paint the case of the fan, that no longer is a problem.... The window to see through is quite large... (which I personally like because it allows me to see more of where I'm going and what obstacles are around me)...and to see someone's face in the middle of the suit does retract from the overall effect. However, if you take some thin, see-through fabric or gauze and paint it to match the pattern and color of the suit, and then attach it to the inside of the window, it allows you to see out, but no one can see your face. Maybe the shadow or outline of your head, but only if the light is just right. For sizing information, I am 5'4" and have no problem seeing through the window ...unless I sit down. One thing to think about that I didn't until it was too late.... if you're claustrophobic and you keep your eyes open when you first zip up and before it inflates.... be prepared for an instant panic attack. I found that if I keep my eyes closed after zipping it up and keep the fabric off my face while it inflates, I do not have a reaction. I find that onve fully blown up, it is quite roomy inside and the breeze from the fan helps a lot to not make me feel like I'm trapped or without air. I was worried about the tail acquiring damage from dragging on the pavement but I've used this thing many, MANY times outside and the tail is still perfectly intact. This is a great suit and well worth buying.. I'm contemplating buying a second one so me and my oldest son can go to some parks and have T-rex battles for kids or whoever to enjoy watching... seeing people react to the suit is by far the best part!

I’ve wanted a T-Rex suit for ages. Why? It’s a T-Rex suit! And I’m a teacher of Deaf kids and adults, who can be quite “jaded”. I am always looking for ways to surprise them. This suit is very high-quality and I like the skin pattern on this one which is slightly more reptile-realistic. Fabric appears to be the same as umbrella material. So far, it seems tear-resistant. The fan and battery pack are a little different from most of these suits in that it has a USB port, so I can use a larger battery to power the fan. Suit fills up quickly (under a minute) and holds pressure well (elastic cuffs at wrists and ankles). I’m 5’10” and the suit fits me fine. The inflated height is 7.5’ so walking in on students is… attention getting. 😉 As mentioned, I mentor/tutor Deaf kids and adults. I bought this suit for me as a teacher to play a gag on them, but I find that I use it a lot. I’ve checked the mail in this, put out the trash, yard work. My family are doubting my sanity…. It really is truthful as a T-Rex costume in that the arms are quite short. This makes it even more fun for Deaf in that my signing is then somewhat limited. All in all, a great buy (though I waited for the price to drop to around $30).

Purchased in 2023. Inflates quickly (I use a battery pack). Great quality. I'm 5'4' and can see through the window with ease. So far, mine has stood up to dance floors and street wear. Great costume.

The Battery pack, Stopped working after 7mins, With out of the pack Duracell batteries, exp.date 2029, But they did send another one ASAP, The costume itself is Amazing, DRESS WARM because It is blowing cold air,BUT it felt great for those 7min😂🤣

Absolutely loved this costume. Extremely easy to get into and inflates very quickly. Stays inflated with no issues. I wish the clear panel you look through was tinted or camouflaged... something you could still see through but hides your face a little. Easily seeing the face of the person inside the costume takes away from the image of the dinosaur, but they are all created this way, regardlessof the manufacturer. I get that you need to see where you're going, but some tinting would help the person's face blend into the costume and still allow for a safe view when wearing it. I also think the plastic ring for the air vent should be a brown color and not orange so it blends into the costume. But all of the manufacturers of these costumes seem to use an orange or bright green air vent that doesn't match the costume. I absolutely love this product and so did everyone else when I wore it. It's good quality and it delivers what is advertised. 5 STARS!

I was wanting to dress up as this for Comic Con, but the other dinosaur costumes either were too expensive or took too long to get here, so I searched hard enough, finding this and it was AMAZING! The product came with the upgraded fan, and that was the one thing I thought it wouldn’t come with. The instructions were clear and it came very well packaged! It somewhat keeps you cool, but the reviews are kinda wrong, as the suit was still hot with the fan. I have worn it for hours, and it’s very amazing and well made! I will most likely be buying this again in the near future!

We've almost found reasons to use this multiple times this year. I didn't want the typical brown costume I see everywhere, and was really excited to find this supplier with SO MANY colour choices! The kids love it, it fits every adult who has tried it on, and the motor works well to inflate it. Really really fun.
