Bought this for my sons 2018 Kia Rio. They did the job until......someone tried to driver their car OVER my sons car and they stopped working. Luckily he was OK but the awesome little EASYGUARD Immobilizer was not so lucky. Before they got squashed, we tested them and they worked as advertised. I have since purchased these again. I am using them in my Can Am Maverick SxS and I am very happy with how they work. Yes a bit of electronics knowledge definitely helps.

The installation instructions are about worthless. It said Easy DIY in the title, well it's not. I'm kind of handy when it comes to wiring and things, having wired a car radio and run a backup camera on my vehicle, but the schematic on this thing was confusing and the word's weren't helpful. The only thing that makes any sense is the recommendation to take it to a professional installer, but I'm pretty sure they would look at it and laugh. It looks like they want it hooked to the coil, but I'm not sure. Then it sort of looks like they want it hooked to the ignition switch, but I'm not sure. I do see a red and black wire that definitely would be your 12v power and ground, but beyond that, its just a guess. I think I'll be returning this.

I had to install this in a vehicle being imported into Canada and it worked great. Passed the import inspection and works as claimed. The battery on the fob has lasted 10 months so far with no issues. The installation instructions weren't super clear so I ended up getting help from someone who installs sound systems into cars. Also, there is a bit of a delay on the immobilization so after installation I tried testing it without the fob nearby and the car still started. We had to wait several minutes for the circuit to immobilize after being activated.

Funciona bien. Trae dos baterías. No trae instrucciones claras. Mala traducción al inglés.

I have purchased other alarms from this company have had it for 3 years no problem i just purchased this one installed it 2 days ago and its great so far would recommend it

Compre este producto y en los primeros 3 mese funciono de maravillas; luego comenzó a dispararse y me bloqueaba el vehículo, al fina termine desinstalándolo, le cambien la de la batería, aun asi seguía bloqueándome el vehículo. No pierda tu dinero.

Just like the other reviews it did not work. I connected it up on the work bench to a 12v power supply & a multimeter before installing it into a vehicle. The internal relay was not operating therefore the contacts were permanently on. After removing the "Quality Control PASS" label there is a cover to the switching relay where the relay coil wires were found disconnected and not soldered to the pins. The unit may work for some customers but i think it will fail soon due to the poor components.

It does not work. It is always on, never disconnects even if It is in power off.

As per other reviews dose not work, latched constantly on, idea is solid design and functionality isn’t, Waste of time and money.
