Unisaw 1 phase 220 volt direct replacement.
I purchased this to replace my 10” Rockwell Unisaw’s capacitor. Motor was just humming and not spinning. Checked the voltage at the low voltage box. Everything checked good. Removed the motor and smelled it. Nothing burned. Removed and tested the capacitor. Read 0 (zero). Was a little apprehensive to just replace but what else could it be..... So, replaced it and all is good. Saw is working. Only item noted was the physical size. Much smaller than what I removed. Hoping the duty cycle is equal to what I removed!

Tested good and works well
Replaced a bad start capacitor in my dehumidifier. The old one was a 200-240 uF 250V. This new one rated 216-259 uF tested at 235 uF and the dehumidifier is now working again. The compressor would just hum when turned on pointing to the start capacitor as the most likely problem. Sure enough.

fixed my motor
This replaced the start capacitor on a `1HP 110 single phase tablesaw and it made it work again. This capacitor is larger than the original so I tucked it into a 6" length of 2" pvc pipe to cover the contacts on the end... not osha approved but good enough for me. With capacitors you don't have to get all caught up on the exact capacitance, but keeping the max voltage rating high is good practice.

Good
Performed well, would buy again

Fixed the compressor motor, saved $700 on a replacement.
One day the the motor failed to stat and would just pop the breaker, quick inspection found the terminals broke off the original capacitors. The specs on these matched, ordered a pair and put them on 2 days later. Now it's working great again. It was on a 7.5HP 230V Baldor motor.
