The dollar compartment zips. There is an inside zip compartment for anything you do not want to lose or be loose and an outside zip compartment for change. Great for kids to carry to school their money does not fall out. Very organized and the clip is super sturdy to hook on or inside a backpack or bag. Excellent product. Very durable.

This is a great utilitarian type wallet that meets various needs. I was able to use one of the pockets to fit my car FOB. The manufacturer markets it to kids but anyone can find value with it with its many secure pockets. Sure, it’s basically a Vecro & zipper wallet but that’s what makes the wallet compact & secure. And there’s a certain “cool” factor that plays as well. I like it. You could buy the more traditional & expensive leather wallet or you can have fun ripping open this less costly Vecro wallet.

Got this for my son's 7th birthday. It's a great little wallet -- has a zippered place for coins both inside and outside, and a zippered area for the bills. There is a little carabiner that is inside the wallet, which I think will help my growing boy keep track of his wallet a little bit better. I loved this blue camo color -- it's fun and boyish, and is a design I can see him growing into as well. I did wonder if this was a fake, but I have no idea about the company itself. Some of the "Rough Enough" items say 'Made in Japan' and others say 'Made in Sweden'. I have no idea whether it's a Japanese or Swedish company -- brand name didn't really matter much to me. Just the quality of the product. And it's quality.

Looks like this wallet is made to last with durable nylon? fabric material inside and out. Easy slide on zippers and a wide velcro strip to hold it all together. I purchased 3 wallets for 9-12 year old nephews because of the added protection of a zipper on the cash slot and the extra attachments. The carabiner and clasp on the lanyard are metal and allow him to keep his wallet safely in his possession and hands free. Note the lanyard and keychain colors may not match the wallet. Key chain has a metal circle at one end and sturdy looking plastic clasp at the other. Would have given 5 stars if accessories were a better color match and keychain had a metal clasp. Overall pleased with purchase.

My 10 year old lives it. It has all the necessary and not-so-necessary features he needs and wants, plus it looks good!

This is our second time purchasing a Rough Enough wallet. The first one we bought about 4 years ago for my oldest and he still uses it! It has held up great! We bought a second one for our middle son and can’t wait to give it to him for Christmas. The packaging is fun! It is all around a great a great product!

When my last wallet fell apart, I set to find something that would stand the test of time. I've owned this wallet for over a year now, and it has help up great. Every wallet I've owned previously has fallen apart very quickly, and amazon reviews for the majority of wallets for adults said they were bound to break. Additionally, many any children's wallets lack the capacity to hold all of my credit cards, punch cards, cash, etc. The Rough Enough wallet has tons of space for all of my stuff and compresses nicely so it doesn't take up a bunch of space in my bag. I also think it's very funny to loudly open my velcro wallet in public as an adult. If that is going to embarrass you, maybe just let this one be for the kids. I highly recommend this wallet to anyone looking for a lot of capacity and anyone tired of replacing their wallet every year or two.

Kids are obsessed with these. They each got one for Christmas. A little more than I wanted to spend but well worth the price. Love all the accessories it comes with. Pockets are so great and keeps everything secure. Lots of fun colors to choose from.
