DiplomatFountain Pen Piston Converter

I bought this so that I could use bottled ink in colors I like that are not available in cartridges. I finally used the converter when I bought the purple ink I wanted. The converter is working perfectly. I had no problems putting it into the pen, drawing up the ink, or with ink flow while writing.I would recommend this to anyone using a Diplomat fountain pen who loves bottled ink.

This is a regular piston converter for a Diplomat fountain pen. It works well and smoothly and does not leak. I would recommend this.

I am constantly having to unscrew the pen parts and manually crank down the pressure for the ink. I am sure there is a technical term for this, and maybe I have the wrong kind of Diplomat for this converter, but it does not work for me well at all.

The piston converter installed and filled without an issue. Now I no longer have to put plastic cartridges into the trash, a small step for the environment but every step counts.
