This is an exact Original Briggs and Stratton part. I broke one of my original ones on my 3-blade Simplicity rider mower deck after hitting a softball size rock kids threw in my yard. That is the part that broke saving my blade, bearing and blade drive shaft. Based on how the original broke, it is meant to break saving all the other more expensive and hard to replace parts. Buy with confidence.
