Dentist recommended this for cleaning under a new dental bridge I had fitted. They are great for this purpose and work well for other areas of my mouth too - as its got a fluffy edge, i have also soaked in Corsodyl and then flossed in areas where i have had bleeding gums. They are a piece of dental floss that has a stiff, slightly curved end that leads to a fluffy bit of floss and the other end is just ordinary dental floss. Essentially the stiffened bit makes its easier to thread it between your teeth and it is clear that someone has actually thought this product through. I won't use any other dental floss although do still use interdental brushes as whilst this has a fluffy bit, its not as good as brushes for bigger gaps. I use this mainly for cleaning under the dental bridge and its perfect for this - because its not just a thin wire of floss it s much more comfortable to clean with and less coarse on my gums so for those with sensitive gums it is ideal. Pros - stiff and fluffy bits designed for ease of use and comfort Cons - packet is a bit difficult to rip open and this with dexterity issues may have issues getting them out of the packaging.

This floss was recommended by my dentist following the fitting of a bridge on my upper teeth. It seems to do what it's meant to do and helpful to have the stiffened end for easy insertion and standard floss for other teeth, although I do usually use interdental brushes for the other teeth. Good value for money as they can be reused (as stated by my dentist) - I use one 3-4 time before disposal.

These are difficult to source offline. Amazon have a number of options to choose from and I have bought from this supplier twice. The item arrived in good time and now appears to have been packaged more suitably for posting. Excellent floss precut into lengths with a soft section and normal wax like floss for the remainder. Easily used and does the job well.

This was different to the normal Superfloss that I usually buy. The stiffened end was shorter in length and didn’t work for my son.

Good quality stuff

These floss strings do work. My son, who had braces and now they're off, has a wire hidden behind his teeth. So, he can't use regular floss. These strings have a plastic tip and make it possible to thread the floss through the teeth so you can get to the gums. It's nitpicky work and it has to be done for each tooth that has the wire behind it. But, there appears to be no other alternative to gum care. The water flossers really don't get in between the teeth. This does!
