Will this work tilted at an angle sitting in a puzzle stand? TIA

Hmmm.....I love this puzzle board with the flannelette, and also bought one as a gift for a friend. She loves her board also. It holds the pieces quite securely, but that's on a flat table. I suppose you could tilt it and pieces would stay, but...not sure how much of an angle you would be tilting the board. I don't think I would trust the pieces at staying in place with too much of an angle. My opinion only. After all that (fun!), work, I want my pieces stabilized.

The flannel on my board seems to have stretched and has a wrinkle in it. Is there a way to fix this?

I've had my board for 2 years and never have any issues. I put the puzzle pieces on it, move them around to create my finished masterpiece and start another puzzle at my leisure. No problems.

Are you able to slide pieces on it while assembling the puzzle? Is it possible to move an assembled section on the mat without breaking it up?

It isn't easy to move the pieces. I do get it that if you have a slippery surface it might not be possible to move the board and keep the puzzle intact. So it is a bit of a trade off.
