I have a few puzzle. But you do have to be careful with some of the pieces but they are fun to do and I mostly have their rovers collection. I will highly recommend anything from Roker. In my opinion well worth the money. You can tell they take great pride in there products, it top notch or they aren’t putting it out for sale.

We purchased the train model for my 8 year old grandson and I to work on. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience working as a team on it. He would find the parts and remove them then sand the edges for me to assemble. It took about 4.5 hours over the course of 3 days. I am extremely impressed with the precision of the fit of all parts. It is a very delicate model to assemble so patience is required. We did break a couple of parts either in removal from the parts tray or in assembly but they include “spare” parts for some pieces. We were able to make other repairs with white glue. The finished model is fantastic! A word of advice is to sand the leading edges of tabs before assembly to make it a little easier to start to insert.

This is a nice model of a steam locomotive in the 2-6-2 wheel configuration, Prairie type. It has lots of detail & small parts. Some parts have to bend, ie things like the engine cover which is laser-slotted to bend into a curve. With a small model it’s very easy to snap, and judicious use of glue helps. Some of the pipes around the locomotive are small enough that if the larger pieces are very slightly warped, the small ones break. More glue. Wax is a must for putting the ends of parts into holes and slots. My model came with no wax, but I had a small amount left over from other puzzles. When in need, I use small white candles from birthday cakes. They’re excellent. I found following the pictures carefully for things like wheel and axle assembly was a very necessary practice. It doesn’t take me hours to make a 3-D puzzle, it take days. But it’s fun and good for thinking, as problems have to be solved. As a finished product it’s very attractive. It is not made to be used as a toy, only for display. The wheels aren’t made to turn. There is a moving part on the tender - half of the top opens. I won’t make another like it, only because it’s not moveable. I’ve made Rokr-Robotime’s movie projector, airship vehicle and gramophone, all of which actually work! (The airship doesn’t fly, of course, it winds up and runs across the floor.) I’ll stick with pendulums, solar, wind-up, and crank operation just to have more fun.

The product is okay. It comes with good instructions and makes a cute little train. However, the pieces are so small/flimsy, some easily break just trying to get them off of the wooden piece they’re attached to. Let alone trying to get them to attach to other pieces. Glue was necessary for me!

This is my 5th ROKR puzzle and while the others were excellent and so much fun, this train was horrible. I broke 3 pieces before giving up on it. It requires way too much force for how delicate so many of the pieces were. Other areas were too loose and wouldn't stay together. Disappointing since the other ones I've done were so solid and enjoyable.

This was not quite what I was expecting. The description of the product says for ages 8 and up. Especially when I did a search for kid puzzle. When arrived, it looks really really hard like a model airplane. I am not sure this is a 8 and up project. We will see, I hope it works otherwise we have wood kindling.

This is a great product

This was a fun project to do with my husband. The instructions were clear, and we had a great time making it. We added a few personal touches to our finished train, but we had a blast making this.

Great build, had sore fingers when I was done. I thought this was a bigger model because my sister has one by the same company, but it was bigger. In all it was a great build.

C'était ma première expérience dans ce genre d'activité. J'ai réalisé ce projet avec une enfant de 7 ans et nous avons réussi à le terminer en 8 heures environ. Nous avons noté deux erreurs lors de l'assemblage. Les deux erreurs se situent à l'étape 9 pour le train et à l'étape 13-2 pour le wagon. Lorsqu'on insère les pièces D9, D14 et E2, l'épaisseur du bois empêche de réaliser l'étape suivante. J'ai donc coupé les pièces D9 et D14 afin qu'elles soient totalement embouffetées dans la pièce D13. Je n'ai pas placé les deux pièces E2, ainsi j'ai été en mesure d'installer la pièce E5 sans problème. La pièce E5 maintient en place les pièces E3. De plus, nous avons noté qu'à certains endroits l'ouverture prévue pour l'embouffetage était trop petite. J'ai dû les agrandir légèrement. C'est un projet que je conseille aux personnes minutieuses et patientes seulement. Suivez les étapes une à une. Soyez prudent avec les pièces C6 et D10. Elles sont conçues pour être courbées, cela les rend fragiles. La petite de 7 ans, n'a eu aucune difficulté à comprendre les explications ni à suivre les étapes.

Over priced. Much better price on Temu. Why pay twice the price on Temu. I will not buy this type of item from Amazon again
