EPAuto CP813 (CF8813A) Cabin Air Filter Replacement for Honda and Acura

A simple cabin air filter replacement (using the EPAuto CP813) successfully fixed a weak A/C system in my 2000 Honda Odyssey, saving the me a costly trip to the mechanic for a suspected low freon issue. The old filter was clogged.

Saw a Instagram video where a man was talking about changing the air filter in the car, and I thought, “Looks interesting, maybe I can do that!” The cabin air in our old minivan was so bad, just musty and also very little air pressure. However, it is not easy to do, just bad design. Nothing to do with the filter, which fit perfectly. Just really a chore to get to the filter compartment of our 2004 Honda Odyssey. There’s a bar that’s he’d on by screws and the screws are under a jumble of wires on one side, and they can’t be seen as they unscrew from the back. The plastic directly in front of it needs to be pried and held in order to get to the screw. It’s a royal pain, but not impossible, like a half hour job. However, it’s enough for my husband to say, “We’ll let the dealer do it next time.” The filter looked like it hadn’t been changed in YEARS…absolutely disgusting. He vacuumed it out, it was full of leaves and schmutz…you can bet that I will definitely be paying more attention to getting it replaced once a year now!!!

I just learned this year about the cabin air filters. I was SO surprised when I pulled my cabin air filter on a 2002 I was amazed that ANY air was getting through. I had to use my shop vac to clean out the opening. I like this filter because it has activated carbon in it to help reduce odors - not that there are any but if there were, they would be lessened. It was super easy to install once I cut away the panel required to remove for replacement [does that make sense?] Anyway this was a nice-priced alternative to the Honda Dealership $100 replacement cost and it only took about 30 minutes from start to finish [I used a dremel tool to cut the plastic part away].

What more can you say about a cabin air filter? It fits with no issues and it way cheaper then oem or Fram. It works just like it should.

This cabin air filter fits a 2007 Honda Pilot. It fits snug with no extra stripping needed and is constructed with very durable materials. The many pleats ensure that it blocks and traps dust, dirt and bugs. It arrived on time and was well packaged for the protection of the filter. I will definitely buy it again. Thank you Amazon.

It's kind of hard to rate this item because there isn't a huge noticeable difference. We changed this because we just recently found out that vehicles have a cabin air filter. I don't know that this was ever changed in our vehicle as we bought it used. We had never changed it since we've owned the vehicle. It is not the easiest part to change out, at least in my Honda Pilot. There were a lot of things to remove to get to it. It isn't really that hard, just time consuming. Overall, we're happy with the product (it seems well made) and the seller.

Wow! This filter works so great I’ll be putting one in every car of my family! I now have powerful fresh cool air coming out from every vent! Surprised Most people don’t know about cabin air filters!

2004 Honda Odyssey. Perfect fit and really cleans up the air. Glad I swapped this out as the old unit was 2.5yrs old and full of junk/debris.

No local parts stores in my area had stock on this, I ordered this here on Amazon and was extremely pleased with the quality for the price.
