simple and lightweight
does the job as expected. makes ocy/acetylene brazing a little less uncomfortable! so far have rattled around some other tools and maintained their integrity. i can even put readers behind them as needed for up close work.

Darker than regular sunglasses
I get migraines and have chronic photophobia. I've done a lot of research into sunglasses and most retail sunglasses allow about 20-13% light transmittance. I've tried ski goggles that got as dark as 8% light transmittance, which was still pretty bright. The Shade 5 welding lenses typically have 3% light transmittance. Technically you're not supposed to drive with them, but with my eyes, they only dim my vision so it looks like a comfortably overcast day. These particular glasses fit fairly comfortably over my regular (prescription) glasses. They're not polarized so there is some glare, but it's better than nothing. Plus they're super inexpensive. I do find the green tint to be a little unpleasant, but it does allow green & red colors to really stand out, so traffic signals are very visible.

Good value for the money
These fit good over my prescription glasses and are somewhat adjustable. The only issue I have with them is they need an anti static coating. Dust sticks to them and is hard to get off.

GREAT FOR EYE SURGERY
These glasses have a yellowish tint to them. Obviously they are for light welding, but they worked great for me when my eyes were SUPER sensitive after Lasik/PRK eye surgery. Most glasses did not compare to the darkness of these and I couldn't stand to even drive with normal glasses. I wore them the first 4 weeks after surgery! Highly recommend!!

Comfortable, fits over most prescription, adjustable, good coverage
Work as stated, fits over most prescription glasses ( i wear smaller modern style rectangular prescription glasses, not the large oval glasses most old timers use) no slipping, comfortable, adjusted, easy to clean, will buy again if needed.

Work and fit well...excellent value
I am taking a welding class and these glasses work perfectly. They fit over my RX glasses really well and have adjustable temples for a secure, no slip fit. Reasonably priced and an excellent value

Not dark enough
The description said that these would be good to use for exclypse / sun viewing but they are not dense enough. I wouldn't even use them to weld in. They are dark, granted...but not dark enough
