High quality, comfortable Coban wrap
I purchased this Coban wrap because I have an adhesive allergy and was having trouble finding silicone bandages that adhered well to my skin. I had a skin biopsy on my arm, and I needed to keep the wound clean and protected. So, I put a silicone bandage directly on top of the wound, and then wrapped the Coban around my arm to keep the bandage in place. It worked like a charm! The Coban sticks to itself very well. It is easy to tear to the desired length, no scissors required! It does not irritate my sensitive skin. It’s easy to put it on, secure it and take it off. It’s comfortable to wear. It’s a nice neutral color, so it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. I will definitely buy it again!

The BEST
This is the brand that the physicians use for an injury and if you buy similar versions at drug stores, etc, there is no comparison. This is the only brand I buy as it works so well. Stays in place unlike the cheap brands.

3M Coban Self-Adherent Wrap 3"x5yds
The 3M Coban Self-Adherent Wrap is a helpful item to keep on hand for wound care. The cost is low, it is easy to use, offers good comfort support when a standard bandage doesn't work. It is thick enough, offers a durable hold, and is easy to remove. The quality of 3M products is very good. I would recommend.

Some difficulty in use.
Good Product, I just wish that it came with somewhere to start unrolling. It was a struggle to use at times.

Works Well
If you need the 3 inch size this is a good brand to use. Holds firmly until you remove it. Covers a wide area easily. Use on people or pets. It sheds off water and dries quickly. Lightweight. Easy to store and take with you. Perfect for people who are sensitive to adhesives, this doesn't irritate the skin. Can be a bit difficult to tear, so use a scissors to cut it.

Amazing well-earned 5/5 product BUT IT HAS LATEX, be aware!
So…as one who wore her fair share of ACE bandages growing up, this type of wrap is an incredible upgrade. It sticks to itself, so those little spiky flat butterfly clippy things aren’t needed to hold it on. You don’t have to tape it. There is no adhesive to stick to your skin or get gummy between the layers of this wrap. It doesn’t come off in the shower, either. It lasts for days. You can reposition it, adjust the tightness easily, and it still sticks to itself. It’s incredible. I change it out when it’s looking a little dingy, every few days. Sometimes the corner edges lift after a few days and it’s annoying to try to stick them back down, but that’s extremely uncommon, maybe two bandages so fa? And I’ve been using this for almost a month now. I use it to hold a hydrogel dressing on my wrist. The hydrogel doesn’t shift at all, it stays exactly where I put it. If you’ve used hydrogel, you know it has zero adhesive properties. Which is why it’s great for burns! But I needed something to hold it where I put it, and this does the job perfectly. This wrap type is what they use after you’ve donated blood or plasma to hold the cotton ball on the inside of your elbow. If you are familiar with that, you know exactly what this is. All of that said, THIS version has latex in it. Let me repeat: THERE IS LATEX IN THIS VERSION. If you, like me, are allergic to latex, you want the “Coban NL”, the NL is for non-latex. Be careful! I didn’t even stop to think this type of bandage might have it, but it does. Just check the description of what you buy. My arm was getting very itchy, and beginning to scale. After a quick google, it became clear that I had purchased something with latex in it. I swapped it out after a mad dash to a local drug store as I couldn’t wait even the few hours for same-day, and within a couple of days the itching had stopped and the scaley skin healed up. I did note that the latex version sticks to itself better than the latex-free version. However the NL isn’t a problem at all in that aspect, it sticks just fine and you won’t have any kind of a problem with it as far as longevity goes. I haven’t had any annoyance over that difference. The product gets 5/5 anyway, as that problem is a me problem, not a product problem given they do offer a latex-free version. I just didn’t think to read the description and do a quick search to be sure it doesn’t have latex. I love this wrap and I will always keep it in my first aid bin, just the latex-free version.
