So I had to update my review because I had originally given it one star due to the mechanism breaking after three months. I decided to give it another try and it turns out they come with multiple replacements and instructions on how to fix them 🤦🏼‍♀️ So now I have a trash can for my laundry room too and I love them!!

I saw the IEEK 12 Liter Rectangular Plastic Trash Can on a YouTube video and thought it looked more attractive than other bins I have used. I used the shared link and bought one to try. It's actually a great trash bin for my bathroom! The lid opens and closes very smoothly. I like its the design for several reasons. I like that the bag folds over quite a bit, making it easy to put on and remove. I like that the bag is entirely hidden by the full top over-cover and held in place well. The shape is super. Because its slim it fits between the sink and toilet with a lot of extra space and it's not a big round or square odd open eye-soar. It surprisingly holds more than I expected. It holds as much as any other bathroom waste can I have used. I like that the lid is not foot operated and there is no clank closing noise. Basically, it's sleek, clean, quiet and easy to use. I am happy with it and will buy a couple more for my home.

This is such a cute little garbage can, I LOVE it for our small bathroom. It doesn’t take up any extra space and it looks so nice and clean. The lid opens very easily, my only complaint is that with the back next to the wall it opens pretty forcefully and the lid hits the wall unless you hold it from doing so. It is the perfect size if you want to reuse your plastic grocery bags for garbage. I was pleasantly surprised that it fits a lot more garbage than I initially thought. Also I just love that the top shell slides right off when you are replacing the bags. It is very easy to use, change the garbage bags, and to clean. It’s not tippy at all because of the way that the base is shaped. Just a very satisfying purchase in my opinion:)

I wrote a review of this when I bought the first one four months ago, but forgot to hit "submit" lol. Found it still there when I came to write this one, so here it is: "This little trash can is perfect -- brilliant design, with the lid part a separate unit that slips over the can. At my place it fits on the counter top next to the refrigerator and close to the sink so easy to toss in scraps. Only worry is how long the top will keep working. It includes a second plastic latch which suggests to me maybe they don't last very long and you can't get additional ones but at this price, who cares? Once they both wear out I'll just order another unit. Ordered at Amazon some rolls of small plastic liners as grocery ones really don't fit. Could not be happier."Well, it didn't last. One of the little pegs that hold the lid on broke and it wasn't dropped or anything. It just gave up. So you might wonder why I bought this again. For the reasons above -- the design is just so cool. Fingers crossed I get more than four months use from this one.Update: The same thing happened. The peg broke on this one too. Just ordered something similar but I hope not as fragile as these are. Too bad because, as I mentioned before, the design is so good but it's just not well executed.

The product was exactly as described. It is narrow so it fits perfectly between the commode and the wall. I love the click lock top to open and securely close the lid. I love how it hides the trash so I don't have to look at it. The design also hides the bag so it doesn't stick out at the top of the trash can. I love this trash can.

Great to keep by my easy chair in the den so I can drop wrappers, etc. in it. The locking lid was a must, as I have a new dog that is still learning her manners. Perfect size for my use case. Other uses may require something bigger,

I loved this garbage can. I loved how the lid clicked shut, then popped back opened. I also love the method of changing the garbage bag. I was so disappointed when one of the hinges for the lid broke after about 3 months of use, now the will not fling opened as it should. Looking at it now, the hinges don’t look very sturdy. I would repurchase, but I’m afraid if I do the replacement would only last a few months again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this slim trash can. The top slides off, you install a clean trash bag, slide the top back on and the trash stays secure and does not slide down. It is small but the oblong shape allows for a lot of trash and it opens and closes with the slightest tap. Fits between my toilet and vanity perfectly. I love this trash can.

I really like the design of this bin. Easy to place the bag in and put the lid over it without fussing over the bag sticking out! Great design!

The bin I got isn’t divided in two segments but it’s better as just one I think. It’s all around a very good and functional bin for the bathroom and I think it looks really nice. In my opinion it’s better than a bin with a sensor to open as its design is much simpler and therefore cleaner

Loved this bin. So well designed & sleek. I liked it so much that I ordered one more.
