Great value rower with solid reputation and performance
First time buying a rower and I had no idea there was so much choice and rubbish out there - I did a lot of research and once I confirmed that I wasn't going to get a Concept 2 D or a Nordic Track within a reasonable timeframe, I actually felt quite relieved to be looking at the more affordable available options...there aren't many that are good. I ultimately chose this based on solid reviews from experts. This site was extremely helpful and not based on filler content or biased promos: https://www.rowingmachine-guide.com/reviews.html This rower actually ranked better than the Nordic Track I was considering, so that was a bonus. It arrived in 48 hours and was pretty straightforward to put together - I did it by myself with my 4 year old disturbing me frequently! On the assembly: there is a piece attached to the front wheels/stand that needs to be removed - might be obvious to most, but it wasn't in the instructions; also, there is an extra block piece that is just for packing - useful for holding up the middle support when you are attaching the beam section (wrong jargon I'm sure, but you get what I mean). The reviewer that mentioned that the middle support doesn't touch the ground is correct - mine doesn't either; in fact, I have to lift it up even more to get the stabliser pin in, it isn't completely aligned. That said, its not a problem at all. All the parts were there and the instructions are fine to follow. The machine is quiet and the no-frills monitor does the job. The Kinoapp is actually pretty cool - if you forgive the search function being a little clunky. I'm loving it so far - will update the review in a few weeks. Great value at this price - have seen on here and other places for $100-250 more, which doesn't make sense. Its a bargain, solid rower at this price...another $100+ and I would hesistate whether I just want to go for NT, bla bla bla. Happy camper here!

Highly recommend!!
I purchased this rower 2 weeks ago, and I have been using it approximately 30 minutes per day for full body workout. This is a great rower at a very reasonable price. It is well built, sturdy and easy to use. The rowing mechanism is very smooth and quiet, I have no problem watching TV or listening to music while doing exercise. The rower is foldable, and it is easy to move because of the transport wheels. But one thing to note is the rower itself when fully assembled and in use – it’s quite long so you will need to have a minimum 6 ft of space to put it. Overall, it is a great piece of equipment to own at home instead of paying for gym membership, and I would definitely recommend this rower to others.

Don't listen to the reviews who said it lifts up while rowing
Pretty good unit for the price. First of all, don't read into the 1 star reviews that said this unit lifts up when rowing. They did not read the instructions properly. There are two holes for the knob when folding and unfolding the track. When the track is up in the folded position, the knob goes through the lower hole. When you unfold the track, you lift slightly up on the track where it meets the pivot point and put the knob through the upper hole (circled in my included picture) 1. Assembly - This wasn't too difficult. The pictures in the manual are a little small, but otherwise it took me about an hour fifteen to put it together while watching a TV show. Everything fit together correctly, nothing was missing or damaged. 2. Operation - Works wonderfully. I am a husky guy and this thing is solid as a rock while I am using it. It doesn't wobble, the motion is smooth, and it is quiet. The resistance is easy to change. I am 5'8 and I am able to extend my legs all the way. Taller people may have issue. The computer works. It is simple but it gets the job done. It is easy to unfold and fold, and takes up very little room when the track is up. 3. Drawbacks - The foot rests are a little close for me, but as I get less fat and my thighs get smaller it will probably get better. I am new to rowing and have not worked out in awhile so the resistance levels are fine, but I can see that once I become more advanced and back in shape the resistance levels will not be enough. Overall good unit for the price. I am happy with my purchase.

So far so good
The rower was deliver quickly right to my front door. The box was well secured with multiple straps to prevent it coming apart. The machine was well packed in the box with pieces wrapped in plastic bags and also with cardboard wrappings. I bought a mat for the rower at the same time and I am glad I did as I would not want my hardwood floors scarred by the rower and/or while putting it together. The machine was relatively easy to put together after I figured our how from the meager instructions. The packaging includes all of the tools you will need to put it together. I did it by myself although it was recommended to have help. I eased the strain on my back by putting the rower on a stool that was about 12 inches high. I found that there were a couple pieces that did not seem to go anywhere; so I trashed them. I was so tired from putting it together that I did only a few pulls on it to see if things were working properly. It is super quiet; so I can row while watching TV. There were not many pieces to put together and I wondered why the company didn't just put it together and then ship it in a slightly larger box. OK, three days later and I was able to use the rower for about 20 minutes. One minor problem for me is I do not like the seat. Not a big issue but with the rower all together the rail that the seat rides on is slanted toward the rowing mechanism, i.e., not level. A somewhat bigger issue is the machine did not come with any instruction on how to set or adjust the tension. AND, the screen displaying time, distance, speed, etc also has no instructions. I am still trying to figure out how to set it to stay on just time rowed instead of scrolling through all of the options. If anyone know the answer to that let me know.

Good little machine for the price
The box is over 75lbs delivered, so unless you're already pretty buff, grab a helper to carry it to your room destination. Assembly wasn't straightforward because the hardware was just tossed inside the box, not in a bag and not labeled. It took over an hour, and I used my own screwdriver as the one provided didn't have enough leverage. A washer fell into the wheel housing twice when screwing in the media tray pole because of the difficulty of access. It was frustrating. Once assembled, it's a smooth glide and pull. The base rocks a bit when you really get it going, but not too badly. My biggest complaint is that I don't find the resistance levels to be very powerful. I'm an out-of-shape novice, and can use the hardest setting with relative ease. I'd hoped for a product to grow into, and this one just isn't. That said, it is good for lots of smaller reps. Pros: •solid machine, feels well made •media stand makes workouts convenient •seat and bar pull/slide quietly and smoothly •generous size and padding of seat helps cushion during workouts •price point Cons: •poor resistance level selection •assembly is time consuming and (for me) frustrating •difficult to move to store- wheels on front are useless, and it's too heavy to pick up and relocate machine frequently •pedal design might work for tall people with larger feet, but straps are located much too high for my size 8 woman's. It wraps around my toes, not mid-foot. Overall, worth the price and effort, but intro machine and not for active enthusiasts.

Great for the price
I love this rower. The downsides are not bad either. The seat is a little hard easy fix with biker shorts with padding though. The foot peddles I can adjust to fit my feet but I need to unscrew them to move it otherwise it won’t budge which is a pain if sharing the machine. Other then that great rower easy to assemble and the app is low in cost and awesoooooome!!!!! Oh it’s heavy so wherever you plan to row be comfortable there because moving this machine takes a man or a determined woman who loves the machine enough to move it daily to use. I would suggest keeping it where it’s not moved much.

Foot rest snaps after just a few years.
Have had the rowing machine since Summer 2021. Figured it would last a while but the foot rest on the right side is broken and would need to get soldered again. Lots of strain happens there so it should be much stronger connection. Pic posted of underside of foot rest. If replacement piece is possible I may revert or update review but it’s a real bummer.

Thumbs up.
I bought this because my girlfriend wanted it. Assembly was very easy, the instructions were clear and the parts were well labeled. Only thing is there was a bag with 2 bolts stapled to the instructions. Wasn't sure where they went, but I figured it out in the end. I included a picture if anyone else gets confused. Anyway, the material quality is great, and it works well when I tried it out. Nice smooth motion, it feels really solid. 5 stars for my girlfriends new clothes rack.
