My Car: A Wonderful Story About Vehicles, Colors, Shapes, and Community for Preschoolers

Recommended by speech pathologist for simple text and pictures. Good for any kid

This is a sweet book and the illustrations are colorful and simple. The vehicles have a little personality, my one-year old grandson loves it.

Absolutely the best book for a little boy! We have owned the book for about a month and my 20-month old asks for it many times a day. Often, he will just sit and look through the book himself while he "reads" aloud. The pictures are bright and colorful. The best part is that there are easily recognizable cars and people on every page. Even the youngest children will be able to pick out familiar items on each page meaning every page is interesting! Also, the story of Sam and his car teaches responsibility and ends with a funny twist that the young readers will find silly. Simply a great beginner book!

We love this kid book!

My 19 month old son LOVES cars. We checked this book out from the library and it is definitely my son's favorite book. I put it on my Amazon wish list, so hopefully someone will buy it for us. We've renewed the one we have 3 times now! :) The book has a lot of simple pictures of cars, simple words, and even a bus. My son gets very excited about the last page which has cars, a bus, and an airplane. My Car is a bedtime story request almost every night.

my son LOVES this book--the bright colors cover the entire page and the story is short, simple and fast-paced (a MUST for a 1 year old). the book can also be used to teach shapes, colors, numbers and, if you're of that penchant, car parts. My Car is my favorite Byron Barton book...I highly recommend it; my busy son pulls it off his bookshelf several times a day and we read it 2 or 3 times at each sitting. He has had this book 6 months and has never grown tired of it.

2歳の男の子に読み聞かせるために購入。とてもお気に入りになりました。車が好きなので、食い入るように見てくれます。文章も長すぎず短すぎず、ちょうどよかったです。 I love ◯◯. My car has ◯◯. などの文章が1、2ページに一つあって、英語の難易度が今求めているレベルでした。単語のみの絵本だと、親としてはもったいないと思ってしまうところですが、この本はよかったです。 色合いがハッキリしているし、いろんな場面が出てくるので飽きません。最後のオチも、バスが好きな息子は喜んでいました。 なかなか英語の絵本でお気に入りになることが難しいですが、この本は当たりでした。

When my son was a baby, this was one of his most cherished books. An absolute must for all vehicle obsessed baby boys.

It was my 2yr old son's favourite book for a long long time. Simple enough to be age appropriate but packs a lot of info about cars.
