Review: Mini machine=Huge return on investment - A bit of a long review, but wanted to to my best to inform you of my experience. First off, I am not a fan of buying kitchen appliances that take up lots of room and only come out one or twice a year to play. My husband was sulking after I shut down the idea of getting a big traditional waffle maker. I figured it would just end up in the small appliance graveyard with his juicer and other friends. We are a 2 person household and not big breakfast people. Anyway, I saw this leggo my eggo device for $10.00 with great reviews , color options and prime shipping- so I took a chance on it. I included a few pics. You can see how small it is next to a regular sized 🍋 lemon. I am shocked by how much fun I had making breakfast with this thing and also surprised by how great the waffles turned out. I followed the recipe from the included booklet for traditional waffles and they turned out great. There are many other options in the booklet to try ( paninis, egg waffles, etc). The recipe doesn’t tell you how many waffles it will make or how long to cook each waffle for. I needed to figure it out.. and for your reference, it only made 4 waffles and each one took about 5 minutes. This may not be good if you are in a hurry or trying to feed a large group. I heated my oven to warm and just put the waffles on a baking sheet one at a time while cooking the others ;meanwhile, I was cutting up fruit, setting the table , making bacon , etc. -so the 5 minutes per waffle was not a big deal for me. I did not stack them on top of each other in the oven - but laid them side by side, so they did not loose any crispness. The hubs was quite happy with his breakfast ( picture attached). I did wash the appliance before using it for the first time, but there was a slightly odd smell when it first heated up. This went away after a bit. ( I find most new things with heating elements smell this way at first. ) I sprayed the griddle with olive oil before each waffle. All the waffles came out clean and easy with no mess. I did not have an issue with the handle being too hot as some reviews have stated. Just be careful and it’s fine. I would be more cautious if a child was trying to help make waffles. Clean up with soap and water was a breeze as no batter stuck to the plates. I will be attempting a grilled cheese panini later. I will update this review if it breaks quickly or something odd happens. This is only my first impression and my first day using it. For the money, I’m more than excited with this purchase. Go on now , get it! Review: For one or two people - this is the perfect waffle maker. - This Dash waffle maker is small, it makes 4" waffles. But it makes them in less than 2 minutes normally. It is well made. Relatively easy to clean. It is easy to use too. Cook time is 2 minutes or less. Plug it in - pour a little batter - close it and watch the light on top [it will go out when they are done.] It is nonstick but I use a quick oil spray for extra easy lift out. I tried it without the oil and it worked well, no problems, I am just old-school. For one or two people - this is the perfect waffle maker.

Tiny but mighty—perfect snack maker!
This mini waffle maker heats up fast, takes up almost no space, and pumps out crispy, golden mini waffles in just a few minutes. It’s not just for waffles—you can make hash browns, paninis, cookies, and even chaffles. Cleanup is easy thanks to the nonstick plates. Forests of single-serving appliances? No, but for dorms, small kitchens, travel, or fun snacks, it’s brilliant. Just mind the cooking time (manually monitor browning) and avoid overfilling to prevent overflow. Bottom line: A compact, affordable, and versatile gadget—ideal for quick bites. Not suited for batch cooking or precise temperature control.

I had no idea what a small waffle maker could do for my life. LOL.
I had no idea what a small waffle maker could do for my life. LOL. This has only one big flaw. The handle that sticks out in the front is either not big enough or just not designed well, so you can burn yourself trying to lift it. I either use a fork to knock it upwards after cooking (because it tends to stick a bit) or I use a mitten. This silly little thing is perfect. It is so simple that it works almost solely because of that. The non-stick surface really is nonstick. Kind of critical with a waffle maker, so the waffles come off clean without scraping and scrubbing. It makes a waffle in about two minutes. About the time it takes to make my coffee. The waffles look like an eggo, but they are oh so much better. Definitely, depending on the batter, as good or better than any at a pancake shop. You plug it in, it warms up and the light goes off. You open it, spoon in about two tablespoons of batter, and close it. The light comes on and when it goes off, the waffle that comes out is wonderful. Love this. I set it up and within one day I had more waffles than I have had in a year. Now I have them all the time. Great with tea, breakfast, coffee, dessert (ice cream, peanut butter, maple syrup....). Now, about that weight problem...LOL.

5 🌟 A great product!
Even better than I expected! This arrived just over 24 hrs after ordering, which happened to be brunch time. I unpacked it and quickly made some perfect mini waffles!! Quick set up, easy to use, fast cooking time, easy clean up. I highly recommend this item. My family of three loved the waffles. I used the 2-3 waffle recipe of Krusteaz Belgian waffle mix,. You only need about 2 tablespoons of batter per waffle. This made 10 mini waffles, each cooked perfectly. There is a small instruction/recipe booklet included, with waffle recipes and some other ideas (quesadillas, cinnamon rolls, etc.) The waffle maker really is “mini” but the cooking surface is pretty much equal to the size of the maker. I expected the cooking surface to be smaller but was pleasantly surprised. The only addition that I would suggest is a beeper to let you know your waffle is ready. (I realize this would probably affect the size). We‘ve owned a full size, flip, Belgian waffle maker for years and the beeper makes multitasking in the kitchen much easier. After using the Dash Mini Waffle Maker once, I realize it will be perfect for tailgating. It’s small, so it won’t take up much space in our tailgate trailer, easy to clean up, and will be great for chicken and waffles or early morning tailgating on days when there is an 12:00 or 3:00 game. I like it so much, I’m ordering more as gifts for family!

Easy to use
I eat keto and LOVE my “Chaffee” maker! Super easy to clean, portable and small so I don’t have to drag out the big iron for my single serve item. It’s super cute and happy they had it in my favorite color. Most of all it’s easy to use! I’m buying these for college student gifts!

Works great so far
I've only had it a few days but have used it several times. So far so good. It heats quickly and cooks well. Simple little machine that does what's expected. Very small footprint so it takes little storage space. These are best for one or two people or for snacks as the size is so small (4" cooking surface) and it only cooks one item at a time, but it does cook each item quickly. I have the white one. There is some misinformation out there on how these work. The light is only to indicate whether the unit is currently heating or not; it's not meant to tell you if your food is done. It comes on when plugged in and turns off when it gets up to temperature, indicating it is ready to use. Then it cycles on and off as needed to maintain the correct temperature. You need to time your food or check on it to know when it's done; don't try to go by the light. The Banana Bread Waffles in the included booklet are very good, but I added pecan pieces, vanilla extract, and some cinnamon. Very easy and moist banana nut bread in waffle form.

Great Product
This Waffle maker is very cute and works well. It is so easy to use and makes great waffle. I like it very much because it is small and save the space, and it only makes one waffle each time, so I can control how many waffles to make according to the numbers I need. You only need to brush the oil to the surface the first time you use it, and you don't need to use oil later on.
