SAMSUNG HW-Q800T 3.1.2ch Soundbar with Dolby Atmos / DTS:X and Alexa Built-In (2020)

Purchased the Q800t sound bar and Q80 series TV. Main reason for purchasing this combo was the Samsung Q Symphony feature which integrates the output from the sound bar and tv speakers simultaneously. There is a noticeable difference in sound immersion with this feature turned on. Setup straightforward with the included HDMI cable and mounting brackets. The only issue was getting the sound bar to power on at the same time as the TV. What a great surprise to get such rich sound from these speakers. I recommend you use a pro or knowledgeable person to get the balance and tone the way you want. The sound fills the full room (size of a large living room) with a pleasant surround-sound feel. Great for streaming concerts, theater, shows--that's why I bought it. Highly recommended. Good value for the $$.

I watch a lot of sci-fi and I wanted high-end sound to accompany high-end video. The sound bar produces awesome, deep, sonorous sound, but it falls out of synch frequently with my Samsung QLED TV. Usually corrects if I restart my TV, which annoys over time.

The subwoofer is not working. It is so low, a +6 being the highest, that its useless. I paid a lot of money for this system. Have called Samsung customer svc, to no avail, bought new cables, hdmi s, optical, had a local co. to come out and it is not fixable. A pc of cra*. Samsung products should be better than this. Not happy at all with this purchase, Amazon or Samsung.

So far so good. This is the third soundbar I’ve tried to get working in my home. Polk and Visio did not work for me. This one was easy to get up and running. Nice sound from it. Didn’t want to spend more money for this model in the beginning. Happy I did.

I changed from a 3 large surrounded speaker system using a reciever to this sound bar and sub. The ARC feedback is amazing. Sound and functionality is sweet and totally worth it.

Better than my 2019 Samsung R series soundbar. Crisp sound, great bass, and can get loud without distorting the sound. Q Symphony works great, Q800A TV syncs and the combined sound is fantastic.

Quite frankly these "atmos" speakers are just another in a series marketing products. They make it sound amazing, immersive but my previous setup with my Yamaha receiver that was nearly 20 years old and 5.1 satellite speakers produced better surround sound. The whole up firing sound is a lot of meh. And the front left /right doesn't feel very wide. These speakers are also very buggy. I have this with my Samsung q800t tv. The sound bar doesn't always turn on with the TV. Sometimes the soundbar goes on but the rear speakers produce no sound. Every time I turn on the tv it always defaults the sound to only tv and I have to reset to earc tv + soundbar. The whole thing is a kind of a mess.

I ordered this Q800T sound bar from TECH ZONE Inc to improve the sound of my new TV. The sound bar arrived earlier than promised. It arrived in original packaging with no damage inside or outside. I had it installed on July 5/23. This is a 2020 model, the sound is incredible and the price was much better than the 2022 model. I recommend doing business with TECH ZONE Inc.anytime you need home electronics.

I know how high standard brand sounds (B&W, focal, Cabasse, Paradigm) but this samsung set for this price is totally impressive My entourage is quited surprised when I give them a demo, I definitely recommend it
