I bought this about 2-3 years ago. A great savings and wonderful taste, but as some have said, the white container leaked and its oil was on the box and the container it came in. I had lost some oil, but I used it and the Tehina was great. Before that I had ordered them in the 11.6 oz glass jars, and after that incident I want back to them, even though it was more costly. Their plastic container was flimsy and the box was the same, but this time, for I took another chance, the box was very sturdy, and although a tiny bit of oil seeped through the cover of the white plastic container, it was just a very little AND the white container seems to have been upgraded to a sturdier container.I had a 4 qt glass bowl with a lid, ready to receive the contents, so I could store it in glass and take from it every day, but I realized when stirring it in its new white container, for about 45 minutes, to get the hardened Tehina off the bottom of the container, which it always has from settling, whether it's in an 11.6 oz glass jar or its 6 lb plastic container, that I could use the container itself to store it in AND take from it daily. It's a much better container. I am very pleased, with not only the product, which I already knew was great, but the upgraded white plastic container it now comes in, and also the box the company (Pepperwood or Amazon?) put it in to ship it.Update: having used the white container to both store it in and take out from it on a daily basis, I've gone to a Pyrex glass container to take from it daily. The white container is so strong that it takes a little effort to get the lid off it. It's a little easier this way with the rubber Pyrex lid cover. I've got three large scoops of a soup ladle in the Pyrex and that should be good for about two weeks? They say to only have one to two tablespoons of Tehina a day, but it's just so good I have more. I put two heaping tablespoons onto a paper plate and dribble some honey all over it. It's delicious.

My friends (one of whom has Middle-Eastern family heritage and needs this for traditional recipes) and I have ordered several of these buckets over the past two years, and NEVER have they leaked, and it is consistently THE best-tasting tahini my friend has ever had. It's almost the only tahini I've ever had, so I can't personally comment on how it compares; although I have ordered Kevala's black tahini as well (because it's the only competitor that's also unhulled, and this one was out of stock for several months) and appreciate both despite a different, muskier flavor-character in the black tahini. Peperwood's unhulled tahini is the one I prefer. It's pretty good as a substitute for peanutbutter in cookies, and usually my friends and I just eat it on toast with honey or real maple syrup. 😋 We love this stuff, and were actually really sad when we couldn't reorder it for so long and had to make due. My friends weren't so keen on the literally pitch-black colored tahini I ordered in the meantime, though I thought it was hilariously weird. 😄

Absolutely the best tahini, authentic, creamy and delicious. Our family makes hummus each week to enjoy in sandwiches, salads, and fresh veggie dip and we’re very glad we tried this product based on other positive reviews. Homemade is so much better than store bought, and this tahini takes it to another level.

First time purchase, arrived damaged and had leaked out in multiple spots all over the box. The lid seal is super flimsy. Now I've lost who knows how much product and what remains will be clumpy and lacking oil. Looking closer at the reviews, I see that I'm not the first person to experience this. If the product is great, it deserves a container that will protect it well. No tahini is worth this mess. Poor show!

This tahini is not as thick as other brands that I have tried, but the bottom line is that it tastes good. At first I found it difficult to pour the thin tahini out of the big tub. It always dripped down the outside of the plastic container and made a mess. I tried a soup ladle once, but that meant one more utensil to clean. Now I have a "system". I use a paper cup to scoop the tahini out of the tub. This is a fast and easy way to measure the tahini. When I am done, I toss the empty paper cup in the trash.

A delicious t'hina ("tahini" in English), fresh and bursting with natural healthiness.It keeps (almost) forever.Suggestion: decant into smaller jars if you have them.
