Best Investment of $450-$500 You Can Make On Your Wellbeing
This is the best long term investment of $450-$500 you can make. So many of us looking at chairs online are looking at ones we want to use everyday and every night. Be it for casual comfort or for supportive productivity. This chair is highly underrated - far BETTER than the overrated and overpriced Steelcase Amia or Leap. Don't let the 3.9 stars on Amazon reviews scare you away from this chair, some people simply are unable to be pleased and are nitpicky. The chair has one of the most comfortable bottom seats of any expensive chair you can look at. One of the problems with most gaming chairs or "ergonomic" office chairs is that the seat is too thin or too firm a material and your bottom will hurt after a short period of time. If you have a bottom that has a lot of pressure points, most other chairs are going to be painful over time. The Eurotech Vera has a thick, generously padded cushion that is not capable of bottoming out. It's not so soft that you sink in, but not so firm that you feel like you are sitting on a cheap school seat. I sleep on soft mattresses so I can't stand "firm" memory foam that feels cheap and hurts pressure points. The Eurotech Vera seat is perfectly medium. The backrest is also terrific. It may look aggressive in the low back, but it's not. It's just right. Whatever engineer designed the angle of the seat rest knew what they were doing because the low back curves in to support your low lumbar back where most people get pain from sitting in chairs. You will not get pain from sitting in this chair unless you try to sit in it like a sack of potatoes. There is more than enough room to sit with your feet crossed under you. The mesh material on the backrest is comfortable and strong. It doesn't rub your skin uncomfortably nor wear down your shirts like cheaper mesh chairs. You can sit in this chair comfortably without clothes if that's something you do. It's a high quality mesh that will last, you can feel it the moment you sit on it. The 4D adjustable armrests have a supportive foam with soft edged contours, your elbows will be fine resting on them and they are quiet. I could not stand the Steelcase arm rests, it felt like hard plastic on the elbow. The move inward and outward as well as by height. The chair also has a lightweight profile and its easy to maneuver. Before this chair, I had bought a Steelcase Amia and Leap. This chair is far superior to those chairs - at near half the price. Buy this chair, it's excellent and it does everything you need it to do.

Very Comfortable Chair!
I wanted to wait to give the chair some use before issuing my review. I had noticed in other posts the issue with creaking. I am happy to report my chair is squeak-free after four months of use. It is very comfortable, with great cushioning and back support. I was a bit worried due to the cost of the chair being much less than many other chairs I have used in the past. There have been no quality issues, and the chair has been tremendous. The biggest lesson I have learned from this chair is to be most comfortable actually requires no slouching and to be seated as far back as possible on the seat. I use this chair between 6-9 hours five days a week and have not seen the cushion get crushed or the back support tear. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a great chair and doesn't want to break the bank.

This is a GREAT chair
I've been in the market for a new office / studio chair for about a month now. After a lot of research, I kept coming back to the Herman Miller Aeron. It seems to be at the top of everyones list, but little did I know there was a $1500 price tag attached to it. I found this chair on a review somewhere on YouTube and was intrigued by it. I placed an order for this chair, despite purchasing a well reviewed Staples Mesh chair. Upon receiving and assembling, I returned my Staples chair within an hour of sitting in it. A few months in now - I've had the seat replaced after going through an extensive menu of who to contact on the MFG website. I initially started getting a metallic noise when shifting weight in the seat that was simply unbearable. The rep was very nice, and sent me out a replacement seat. The first replacement was defective and had a rip in it. The second was fine. The rep asked me if the sound was metallic or sounded like wood creaking. Everything was fine initially, until 2 weeks later - I started hearing a loud wooden creak noise whenever I shift weight in the chair. It seems that these are known issues and they don't exactly have it worked out. Still VERY comfortable, so I'm just going to live with it until I can find a better solution. The overall comfort is phenomenal. Helps keep you in an ergonomic posture, has a great deal of adjustments for a chair at this price point (including a seat depth adjustment) which most in this price range don't include. The comfort is AMAZING. When watching the YouTube review, they compared LOTS of office chairs at several price points, yet this one had the highest comfort rating (including Herman Miller & Steelcase). The only thing missing from this is an adjustable lumbar support system, although I feel they hit the sweet spot with where they chose to place the lumbar support (built into the backrest). I understand that if you're an office with lots of employees, you want a chair that can last from person to person and adjust to their particular comfort preferences. If you're setting up a home office, this is a chair you're going to want to have. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because its missing an adjustable lumbar support system. Aside from that, I'm 5"9 and this chair fits just PERFECT. If you're over 6" tall, I can see this chair potentially being an issue for you. Only because I have the seat depth at its maximum extension (personal preference) and that's the sweet spot for me. Just so you're aware, I spend an average of 8-10 hours a day, Mon-Sun in my desk and my back never feels fatigued sitting in this chair. If you don't want to spend the premium on a $800+ chair, this is going to hit the sweet spot. Everything was extremely simple to assemble. I'm a Graphic Designer and Music Producer, and if you're looking for the best bang for your buck, this is it.

Excellent chair/horrible packaging
I purchased the Eurotech Vera chair after having tried some of the ergonomic chairs from Steelcase (Leap v2 and Think V1) and Staples (Hyken). I found all those chairs, while providing excellent back and lumbar support, had extremely firm to the point of hard seating cushions that were exceptionally uncomfortable to sit in after about 15-20 minutes. After much searching, I settled on the Eurotech Vera. I previously had a Eurotech (Raynor) chair that lasted in excess of 15 but whose cushions had just flattened out and were no longer comfortable. The Vera is kind of the best of both worlds - a very comfortable mesh back chair with a lumbar curve along with a deeply padded firm seat that is comfortable for extended sitting periods. For me, the seat is a godsend as it does not inflict pain on my upper thighs and tailbone like the Steelcase or Staples chair did. I find I can sit comfortably with a nicely padded seat cushion and very nice back and lumbar support from the mesh back. Now - why the reduction from 5 to 4 stars. Simply put, the packaging on the Vera chair is abysmal. I have never seen a new product packaged so carelessly from the factory. The box itself is a very cheap, thin cardboard that is easily punctured or torn. In my case, the flaps of the box were not properly taped or secured, causing notable gaps and openings in the box. The box was so poorly packaged that the included Allen wrench was clearly poking through one of the flap openings......a bad sign. On opening the box, I was shocked to see that the assembly bolts and washers were just loosely thrown in the box. The little plastic envelope that should have secured the parts was taped to the box with the casters, but it was sealed and contained nothing in it. All the bolts were just scattered loose in the bottom of the box. I ended up missing 1 armchair bolt and the 2 hole washer to secure the chair. I did contact Eurotech Customer Service to report the missing pieces and then advised to email their parts dept. with a list of missing parts they would send out. In the interim I purchased 1 bolt and washers to secure the arm to finish the chair. In closing, the Eurotech Vera is a 5 star chair based on the design and comfort. But the packaging is the absolute worst and resulted in taking a star off for the really careless way the chair and its assembly parts was packaged.

Covid gave me lower back discomfort
I know I have terrible posture, but never had to sit in my super cheap office chairs at home for so long. Eventually developed some lower back discomfort, so I deliberately looked for an office chair with good lower back support that wasn't stupid expensive. This is still pretty expensive and I have no idea why office chairs cost so stinking much, but it's not a bad chair. Started to get a bit of squeak as some others have mentioned, but it isn't annoying or too loud (yet). Overall comfort is good, support is good, mesh is decent (I usually don't like mesh), adjust-ability is all right. Tbh I'm not into office chairs so I have nothing to compare this to. Uhhh I'm tired from writing so much now D

Okay chair, awful packaging
Had two chairs delivered day apart from different warehouses and both had rips and scuffing on meshed back rest. The packaging is horrible, seems like manufacturer just does not care at all and throw together heavy seat with metal parts and delicate backrest with easy to damage mesh together with no protection at all in some flimsy boxes. Shipped from China, then across US, the chances of everything coming in one piece are pretty slim. The chair itself seems alright, the way they shipped is completely unacceptable. Should take a real miracle to get one undamaged, I just gave up on trying my luck and just requested refund. Pity as it a pretty good chair for the price.

Great lower back support and comfort for bigger people.
This chair is awesome for the price. My lower back pain is gone since switching from a cheaper chair. The back support is too notch, cushion is thick and firm so it won't collapse over time, and the adjustments are awesome. I work 8 hours from home and PC game after and I'm still comfortable. Can't beat it for the price.

Egregious packaging, outstanding work/gaming chair
When the chair arrived, the packaging was so beat up it looked like cardboard taped together from an emptied warehouse. The delivery guy waited while I checked to make sure all parts were present and intact. I almost feel a bit lucky that everything was there and nothing fell out during the shipping process. For Canadian buyers, your shipment will be coming from California; keep that in mind. Let's talk about the assembly. So, first of all, I put in custom casters. I bought these small 2-inch roller wheel casters from Amazon—amazing stuff by the way—and then inserted the gas lift. Setting the rest up by myself in my bedroom was a pain in the butt, as I had to use the corner of my bed to stabilize the seat while I screwed on the armrests. Proceeding from there, I actually held the seat upright while I screwed in the backrest. Then I put the seat on the gaslift, got it up to its maximum height, and checked all the screws for proper tightness (not so tight as though you'd start to see white on the underlying plastic, but very tight to ensure no parts are moving.) Then it was finally time for that first sit... and wow. This chair is so ridiculously comfortable that everything else melted away. It's so, so cushy compared to a standard gaming chair and you would have no idea there's a frame underneath; at the same time, it's got the firmness you'd expect from a quality ergonomic chair. I don't know how to explain it: it's pillowy and supportive at the same time. If you're my height, so between 5'2 and 5'6, you may want to grab a footrest. I got one just in case, and it made the experience even more comfy. Eurotech Seating (Raynor), if you're reading this, you've done a tremendous job with this chair. Coming off years of DXRacer and SecretLab chairs—the comfort level of this guy, the Eurotech Vera, is on an entirely new plane. I'm a writer that needs to sit 8+ hours when working from home. When working, I lock the chair so I can focus. When it's time to game and create content, I unlock the chair, and it rocks back so smoothly, and the ergonomic curve is such that it would fit many different sizes of people. The quality is outstanding compared to other gaming chairs as well. Not everything is metal, and there are a few cheaper plastics here and there, but the overall construction is solid, and I feel like this is a chair that will last a very long time. This is as close as things come to a perfect work/gaming chair for sub-$500CAD. All that needs fixing—and, seriously, this needs big-time attention—is the packaging. This is such a great chair; why ruin it with poor cardboard packaging? I'm giving it 5 stars because the comfort level of the chair makes you forget all about the packaging.

Comfortable back, uncomfortable seat, bad packaging
Like other customers, I had the issue with my packaging being smashed with all the bolts and washers loose in the box. By sheer luck, I wasn't missing anything, but I had to search everywhere in the box to find all the parts. Adjustments are plentiful, and I really like the back and arm feel of this chair. Although, there is one adjustment missing as will be mentioned later. The seat cushion is a negative for me. I am ~70kg in weight and I find the cushion very hard. This is compounded by the fact that I cannot adjust the seat tilt independently. Similarly, the backrest lock has too big of a gap between 1st and 2nd position. At 1st position, I feel like I will slide off of the chair. At 2nd, I am straining my neck somewhat. The chair looks great and feel solid otherwise.
