Chuckit! Pro 26XL Dog Ball Launcher, 26" Length, XL (3.5" Ball) For Dogs Over 100 Pounds

This is actually the second ball launcher I have purchased. On a day when my brain was out-to-lunch, I purchased a 2.5in Chuck-It ball set; it was way too small, so it was gifted to my niece dog. Even though the 3.5in ball version is recommended for dogs over 100lbs, my 70+ pound Doberman needed this larger size. This ball launcher takes a bit of getting. used to, but it is really helpful for those of us who are not MLB pitchers! The launcher itself is a sturdy plastic that is not brittle yet not soft; when the ball is launched there is no destructive bending in the shaft. The handle is padded and ergonomically sound while the cup end cradles the ball but has cut-outs on each side for easy loading and unloading of the ball. It did take a bit of practice for me to get the hang of it, but for my husband and son it was much easier. The launcher works well to help us older, non-gifted athletes launch the ball farther and faster while saving the shoulder, elbow, and wrist (important if there is any arthritis). The ball fits nicely into the cup and releases easily. I have chosen to use a 3.0inch ball for the simple reason it is easier on my hands. The problem we have is for some reason our dog will simply not relinquish the Chuck-It ball! He even tries to get the extra ball in his mouth, now remember these are 3.5in balls! (We have found if we have a second ball loaded and ready to throw, he more willingly puts down the ball he has just retrieved...not the case with the Chuck-It ball). No matter who throws, how hard we try, how long we try-he refuses to release the ball. To solve the problem we just do not use the Chuck-It ball. I have just discovered another great use for the launcher. While recovering from cataract surgery, I was not allowed to bend over at the waist. I can squat easily, but at some point the body automatically begins to bend at the waist. That restriction limited playtime with my 4 legged friend. Enter the Chuck-It ball launcher! Once he drops the ball (the substitute 3.0in ball), using my foot I can scoop the ball up into the cup of the launcher and voila', "Play Ball"! All in all (my dog's uncooperative stance not withstanding), this has been a great dog toy. Top 3 Likes: -Easy to use -Relieves strain on wrists, elbow, and shoulder -Helps drive the ball farther and faster Top 3 Dislikes: -Not a problem with the product, but for us the ball is unusable and superfluous at this time -There is a mild worry that with time the launcher may snap -Only two dislikes!

This thing is great the balls bigger. But. I wish the ball was more durable. I have a Cane Corso and the only reason I’m saying that is because any dogs like that just destroy the ball. It’s hard to find a launcher that has a 26 inch ball that they can use. Sprayed for labradors and anything like.

My name is Diesel, I am a 170 lb great dane. Chuck it pro launcher is my favorite. It can throw high, it can throw long, it can throw low. I never miss one, I have a perfect score. I won't let my pitcher get it first. I also like that I can just drop it on the ground. Real athletes, like me, keep their eyes on the ball and don't just hand it off. I always know where my ball is, as soon as my pitcher grabs the launcher I am ready for the challenge!!! I love orange and blue and can find this ball even in the roses. My pitcher is handicap and can hardly run or smell or hear at all so this really helps them reach and throw more quickly. The ball is just the right squishy, it has a really satisfying rebound when chewed. You can just walk around squishing it all day. You don't need to worry, that it will go in he smelly bin in the kitchen and never come back. Amazon brings more, I can verify, balls come in amazon boxes and get delivered to every house. I've seen it. You can keep track of this ball when you drink. It just floats in the water bowl. I mean all balls are cool, but this is just a great combo! 5 stars!

I got this to replace my size M original blue chuckit launcher that I have had since probably 2009 with my childhood dogs. It’s not broken, but my dog is a bit too large for the size M balls and I’m afraid he will swallow. I got the size large and it doesn’t launch the ball quite as far. I think it’s because the neck is a bit more bendy than the old original one. Other than that it does get the job done. Saves your hands from slobbery dirty balls and also from breaking your back to continuously throw for your pup. The ball that it comes with is pretty crappy, and broke within ten throws but I don’t really care because I have a 3 pack of 3” chew king balls that fit just fine. I do wish it came with a chuckit ultra ball, though. Would kind of suck to buy this unknowingly and have to replace your dogs ball immediately.

Product is exactly as advertised. Effortlessly launch balls without destroying your arm. You can use this launcher with the other ChuckIt rubber balls of the same size. I'm sure it is also compatible with balls from other brands, though I haven't tried it.

This chuckit is heavier than the medium size chuckit thrower but it launches the ball just as far. My Aussie loves to play fetch and using the chuckit thrower saves my arm and back.

Review by Quilt Lady’s hubby. Due to injuries to both rotator cuffs throwing a ball overhand for our dog is awkward & painful. I have been throwing it underhand, but that has it’s own issues after 30-45 minutes. Thought I’d give a “Chuck-it” a try and am ever glad I did. It does take some practice to get the trajectory right ( watch some YouTube videos on it first), but I can now throw the ball farther than I ever could by hand which means Magic gets to run further each time and gets more exercise. I LOVE the fact that I don’t have to even touch the ball (especially once it’s dripping in slobber) since I only have to bend over slightly to scoop it up with the cupped end of the throwing stick!!!! Unless you have a good pitcher’s arm get one of these! Your shoulder and dog will LOVE IT! UPDATE 02/2021 I LOVE the throwing stick, BUT the balls are splitting in half with ease. If your dog squeezes the ball in their mouth as they’re returning with the ball it’s going to split PDQ. I’m on the 2nd ball and it’s already splitting after only a couple of uses. Be sure to buy extra balls JIC

Very nice thrower strong and works very well. I use the appropriate chuckit balls and I have a very happy dog. It helps propel the balls a good distance that I could not throw without it. A good grip and easy clean on muddy day. I highly recommend.

Was allerdings richtig nervt ist die umständliche Darstellung im Internet - etliche Bekannte ( Hundeschule) haben deswegen Abstand genommen - wir haben uns zu viert durchgekämpft! Warum nicht einfach den Wurfarm in den verschiedenen Größen vorstellen mit den jeweils passenden Bällen? Das wären zwei bis drei Klicks und man hätte die Ausstattung, die man haben will! Außerdem muss man ziemlich aufpassen, dass man nicht den Wurfarm für den Gummistock bestellt, wenn man das Pedant zum Ball haben will!! Übrigens: Wie der Geschmack des Produkts ist - fragen Sie besser unsere Hunde - ich apportiere eher selten! Da unsere Vierbeiner aber sehr gerne mit den Bällen und dem Gummistock spielen, müsste der Geschmack wohl genehm sein!
