Lightweight, fits perfectly
Fits my 2008 VW Jetta GLI. I decided to get this non-carbon filter (OEM) to hopefully get more air flow in the cabin. The gasket to the cover is a tight fit, be sure to press up then slide over to lock the cover to prevent air leaks. I had a slight air leak (squeaky noises) because I wasn’t careful initially.

Quality Control Issue
Denso Cabin Air Filter - 453-4007Upon initial installation, the filter door latch did not line-up with the offset slots at the bottom gasket of the filter. This filter is asymmetric, it can only be installed one way.At closer inspection, the slotted bottom gasket is attached to the filter element using velcro.I removed the bottom gasket and rotated it 180° in order to obtain the correct orientation.The filter then installed easily enough and fit as intended.This appears to be an assembly quality control problem. Simple as it may be, it is a disappointing annoyance. What should of taken 5 minutes turned into an unnecessary faf.

Incredibly flimsy
Mine came with a black backer instead of white, so I know they've changed this filter or there are different batches that do not meet the rigidness necessary to install without the filter medium bunching up inside the fan housing. I feel like I just wasted my money where I thought I could save a few dollars. Used Mann filters prior to this and they provide a more rigid frame and attach foam around the edges that are inserted. I'll be removing this and replacing with the Mann filter...lesson learned

Replaced filter in Jetta wagon.

Doesn't fit a 2011 Jetta
The filter cover could not slide into place because the foam at the bottom of the filter is too thick. I put the old filter back in, and the cover slides right back into the locking position. Garbage.

Empaque todo roto la calidad del material es muy mala muy delgado el filtro y no sella bien no es un producto que volvería a comprar por el mismo precio o un poquito más hay de mucha mejor calidad
