Lately the gold toes have gotten thin. For some reason these are thicker, and a little longer, so I am happy. They are a dark denim like the picture.

My favorite socks for over two decades!
These are my favorite socks! I live in blue jeans, so about 20 years ago, I decided to buy denim colored socks to coordinate. These are perfect--not too thick, not too thin, not too tight, not too loose. You can wear them straight up, folded over or scrunched. And they hold up for years! Every ten years or so, they begin to wear thin, so I buy a whole new batch and they last another ten years. Last year, I began looking to replace my socks and I couldn't find them! I bought some other Gold Toe multi-pack that had ONE denim pair in a pack of six. Besides not being the color I wanted, they were a thinner weave, fit a little more loosely (wider), and had more nylon and less cotton. I had almost given up finding my favorite socks again when Amazon suggested these "based on your previous purchase" (the ones I didn't like). Instead of my usual 18 pairs, I bought 24 pairs (8 packages). When they were, indeed, my favorite socks, I bought 24 more pairs so I'll have them in 10 years when these new ones wear out! Get 'em while you can!

All rip on side by the heel
I’ve been wearing the gold toe for many years , but every pair rips on the side by the heel, they only last a short time.. they are the only blue jean color socks I can find! They run narrow for a smaller foot!

My favorite socks for 35 years
Cushy and warm. They stay up regardless of what shoes I wear. Good color with jeans. It's getting harder to find these, especially in the XL size. Just the right amount of stretch for ease in applying and staying put.
