I bought this as a cheap little camera that can write to a memory card (if no Internet) or provide live streaming without saving to the cloud. It's small, very light weight, and sits pretty much anywhere and can record discreetly. The quality of the feed is good, and the quality of records is also very good given the price. As streaming only cameras go, these are good value for money when on sale.

Great camera, easy to setup and integrate with Google home etc, only downside is its supplied with a European 2 pin plug which is a bit daft in the UK.

Camera is better than expected for the price, but the lack of a UK mains adaptor should be made clear on the description.

Second purchase, they are actually excellent, however this advert is advertising an EU 2 pin plug version, not a UK plug.

Works well, easy to setup. However it came with a 2 pin EU plug not a U.K. socket.

Got one of these in Argos and was happy with the value. I wanted a second and saw that I could save on a memory card here on Amazon. So using Amazon UK I got it delivered to a UK address and it only came with a EU plug. I tried to continue setup plugging into a universal adapter but this did not work either. So I guess it ships with a faulty EU plug. Maybe Amazon is trying to seduce the UK out of brexit. Hey there, look at the plugs you're missing out on.

Super tolle Kamera, das hatte ich wirklich nicht gedacht, dass die so tolle farbige Aufnahmen macht. Schnelle Einbindung, App herunter laden und mit WLAN verbinden und dann läuft schon alles wie von selbst. Chip rein, keine weiteren Kosten, man kann das Leuchten der Kamera ausschalten und die Kamera auch von unterwegs ein- und ausschalten. Das einzige Manko, deshalb ziehe ich aber keinen Punkt ab, ist dass die Kamer nur unter Strom funktioniert und was ich noch bemerken möchte, man hätte das Kabel in weiss machen können, wenn die Kamera schon in weiss ist.. Sehr zu empfehlen, super guter PREIS

Estas cámaras TAPO son increíblemente baratas y funcionan perfectamente. Son fáciles de conectar con un NVR y funcionan muy bien. No sé si al igual que con los altavoces Alexa, se quedan con tus datos para luego monetizarlos de alguna forma. Si no, no se explica que sean tan baratas y funcionen tan bien. Pero a mí no me importa. Al principio me compré varias de el modelo C200, pero si no tienes que andar moviendo la orientación de la cámara, estas C100 son mucho mejores, porque son más baratas y con mejor calidad de imagen. Se puede configurar la imagen para que esté a 1080P, 720P o 360P. Yo las uso a 360P pues son para los cuartos de mis niños, o de mi madre que ya está mayor. Todas la cámaras TAPO con muy fáciles de configurar. La visión nocturna funciona bien, tanto en la C100 como en la C200. El altavoz que incluyen es una caca, suena muy bajito y como la voz de Darth Vader, pero cumple su función para que por ejemplo los niños te oigan decirles que les dices que se callen y se duerman. La APP de TAPO para ver las cámaras no es perfecta, pues si el teléfono donde la instalas no es muy bueno, o si la señal wifi no es muy potente, la transmisión se congela y le tienes que dar a reiniciar la señal cuando menos te lo esperas, lo cual es un desastre la verdad. Pero con buena señal wifi y un buen teléfono funciona bien. Otra cosa, si la cámara y el teléfono no están en la misma red wifi, sólo puedes ver unos 5 minutos seguidos, y le tienes que dar manualmente a "Continuar" cada vez que pasa. Esto se soluciona comprándote un plan mensual por cada cámara, de 3,5€/mes, con lo que 1 año te sale más caro que el precio de compra de la cámara. Y por último, se pueden usar para conectarlas a un NVR, lo cual no es complicado. En ese caso, funcionan igual de bien que cualquier cámara ONVIF, pero a un precio insuperable. Además, funcionan todo el tiempo sin problemas, sin cortes, etc., y sin tener que comprarte un plan mensual por cada cámara. Funcionan perfectamente. En una casa tengo un NVR con 2 cámaras ONVIF cableadas y 2 TAPO C200 por wifi, y lo que tengo en mi NVR son 4 cámaras funcionando perfectamente.

Very simple to install

I previously bought to Arlo cameras before these cameras, and both of those arrived faulty out of the box and I had to take time out of my day to go replace them through a warranty center. These on the other hand came out of the box working beautifully. The set up is extremely simple. The video quality is good. The notifications are really nice and there virtually zero delay on the video stream. Super nice feature is the micro sd card port so you don’t have to pay any subscription fees, that said the subscription fee is fairly reasonable at S$5 per month. All this said, zero complaints whatsoever. Such a great value for money at this price point. 100% recommend.
