Earth and Space: Photographs from the Archives of NASA

I originally got this for my boyfriend but I honestly feel like I got more use out of it! It’s so fascinating to see all the photos!

Beautiful photos

Funny story with this one. I had a boyfriend that LOVED space and all things similar. I am always intrigued by outer space, ideas of other dimensions and galaxies, but this was on a whole other level. I purchased this for him, with Valentine's Day just around the corner. (I know, not the most romantic gift), and then he told me two days before Valentine's that he was in love with his ex. I'm guessing he hadn't been gift shopping for me. (Oh well). Cheers to them, I now have a really cool book that I wouldn't have originally spent money on for myself. Side note, I meant to return it, but ran out of time but was sort of fascinated with the book anyways. No regrets on my end, as far as the book is concerned - that is!

"Earth and Space: Photographs from the Archives of NASA" is a wonderrful book with NASA's amazing photographs. It is a great gift for both professional astronomers as well as for interested beginners who are just learning about Space. It is a great Addition to my collection.

I will post other pics later with actual pictures of inside book. I’m a space geek so I’m purchasing some cool books about space and this was a used book buy for $5. Did not come close to paying new book price. Book was in very good condition. Thanks.

My boyfriend is fascinated by anything to do with space, so I bought him this book as a Valentine's day gift and he loved it. We looked through all the pictures together and they are all beautiful. He showed it to his parents, who then said I was a thoughtful gift giver! Just be careful while going through the book because if the picture is on a black background, your fingerprints can easily mark the pages.

I was hesitant about purchasing this due to the hefty price tag but omg. I do not regret!!! About the first 60 pages or so are of earth and the sun and then it gets to the good stuff!! My breath was taken away with each page turn!! GORGEOUS PHOTOS

Great book with really fascinating and beautiful pictures of nebulae, stars and planets. Anyone who's into space or astronomy will really enjoy this book

Una pena que por el momento solo esté disponible en inglés pero eso no deja de ser un impedimento para tenerlo, ademas, en general no es muy complicado de entender. Como dice el titulo, son fotos de los propios archivos de la NASA realmente espectacular con una breve descripción valida para cualquier persona y que no ahonda excesivamente en tecnicismos. Nebulosas, los anillos de Saturno o la propia Tierra vista desde el espacio, son parte de las imágenes que contiene el libro llamadas en unas hojas con un gramaje considerable y con una calidad de impresión mas que buena. Creo que en general es una gran selección de imágenes.

Muitas pessoas compram livros de fotos, para decorar sua mesa de centro, garanto que esse livro é suas fotos chamarão a atenção de qualquer um. Cada belissima foto vem com uma breve, não tão breve assim descrição sobre a mesma. Eu presenteei meu filho, mas a minha esposa também é apaixonada pelo assunto e mesmo eu que só interajo quando eles me contam algo , confesso que são imagens dignas de galeria, simplesmente a maravilha do espaço e um pouco de sua infinita beleza. Gostei tanto que já estou na dúvida sobre qual darei meu filho no mês que vem. E volto para relatar.
