Candyrific M&M Large Dispenser with Candy, 2.14-Ounce, (Colors May Vary)

I bought this for my M&M obsessed and coin hoarding three year old son. He loves being able to put a coin in and to get M&Ms out of it! It is a good quality item - I was nervous about it being chintzy, especially for such a low price, but it is actually pretty sound and can stand the abuse of a 3 year old. My only complaints (very minor, mind you, not even enough of a complaint to give it less than 5 stars) are: 1) you don't have to have a coin to get the M&Ms out, which meant my son having access to way more M&Ms than I preferred. And 2) you can't pick your color. We ended up with the green one, which is the girl M&M character. Thankfully my son loves the color green and doesn't realize that the character is a girl. But if you or your child care which color and/or gender the character is, that's a risk you'll have to take. :) I overall recommend this product.

I'm very "meh" about this. It's cheapy so I didn't expect much. My biggest gripe is that the top comes off way too easily. It works great for potty training but since I have to have it low enough for the kids to reach it they've picked it up from the top a few times and I've had to chase down M&Ms. It would be great for a desk!

I bought this for m&m's it works really well but I didn't like the quality so much anyway it did the job.

This was a great gift for my previous coworkers, they loved the fact that I had an M&M dispenser - but since I was leaving, I wanted to leave something for them to remember me by!

Brought it because of the low price. Cute but cheaply made. Globe came off, works fell out on opening the box. Managed to put it back together but candy rarely came out. Ended up taking off the character and pouring out the candy. Would have returned it but not worth the bother.

I bought this for our young son and was disappointed in several aspects of this dispenser: (1) It's made of cheap plastic and arrived w/ the globe scratched and cracked. (2) The top doesn't screw on--it just pops off w/ very little exertion. (3) Part of the appeal for me was that this dispenser is coin-operated. What the description on Amazon doesn't tell you, however, is that a coin is not necessary to dispense the candy. Furthermore, when the crank is just barely turned, the candy (usually two pieces) flies out so quickly that some goes on the floor w/o your hand there to catch it. A young child is often not coordinated enough to turn the crank and put his hand out to catch the candy. (4) The dispenser only came w/ enough candy to just fill the bottom of the globe. (5) It is very much over-priced at $29.99.

The picture showed a sax player it was for my grand son they sent the girl with her legs crossed and heels. I gave the girls that same one. Very disappointed

nice concept. all plastic. (i had to hi-light coin slot w/light color paint to see exactly where to put coins) so, good combination of dust catcher & piggy bank :-)
