Old Trapper Deli-Style Beef Sticks, Jalapeño Flavor, 15-Ounce Package, Spicy Beef Sticks, Six Grams of Protein and Zero Grams of Sugar per Serving (Pack of One)

These are my go-to snack they are my hand sized, so I normally eat 4 pieces as these aren't a 6inches long but enough to fill me up to curb hunger. The mouth feel of these are that of an al dente vegetable the meat casing makes a slight noise when biting through it the taste is a little garlic there's a slight hint of spice and thankfully there's less of a waxy feel to the meat sticks when eating these, not a hot kind of spicy that are going to make your tongue burn these are more of the black pepper type of spicy without the burning mouth sensation. Not highly salty tasting tho these have a high salt content as most beef jerky sticks do.

I had first tried these by picking them up at a store. They are great snack for anyone trying to keep on a low carb diet. Keto Friendly for sure. The Jalapeno adds a nice twist to the flavor of this snack would highly recommend over the original flavor. Not to spicy but just a little kick.

Meat sticks were fresh and tasty

Who doesn't like cheap, salty, mystery meat sticks? You basically get what you pay for. Of course, it's important to remember, this isn't a health food and eat it in moderation. One thing to note is that if you're looking for a jalapeno flavor or even something mildly spicy, these aren't it. They're barely spicy and don't taste like jalapenos.

I eat a lot of the instant lunch noodle cup things and other noodles and I try to put one of these in each cup or bowl of noodles that I eat if I have them and haven't eaten them all to just kind of spice it up and make them better and more interesting just like sometimes I might put a couple jalapeno rings in there as well and even maybe once in awhile a slice of cheese and mix it all up after it sits for a few minutes after I put the hot water in so that it Cooks and these taste great and really add to your noodles even though you can eat them straight or whatever way you want but I highly recommend these as well as the ones that aren't jalapeno flavor I get them as well and they're really good too and I haven't tried the Teriyaki ones yet even though I would like to but they're a little bit more expensive so maybe in the future I might order those but I haven't ordered them yet and I thought the original ones of these were basically perfect tasting but then once I tried these I couldn't believe it because these even tasted a little bit better just because they have a little bit of spice in them so these are awesome but I've always been a fan of beef jerky or whatever so I'm a little bit biased but if you're a fan of beef jerky order you some of these!

Old Trapper always good

I bought this mainly because I have never tried this brand before. Here is my honest and very personal feedback on it: Pros: Somewhat cost friendly No need to store in fridge after opening No animal/beef smell compared to some brand's deli beef stick I had before Cons: Greasy, I can feel my mouth coated in oil film after just one stick. Very salty, probably the saltiest I've ever had Texture is on the soft side
