How big a key will this fit ? My key is 4 inch long

Sorry four inch key is too big. Takes a normal size door key that's all.

Could you please prove your police recommended approval? Also I am not correct that this item will invalidate your insurance as it is not approved

This unit is not police approved. You have to check with your insurance company regarding key safes, as they all differ.

Does it have to be wall mounted or can I just hide it somewhere?

The key safe will still work if it is not wall mounted, but we recommend that you install it on a wall for security purposes.

Would one Yale and one Chubb key fit in together?

It should do. I currently store x2 yales, x1 ultion, x1 mortace & window key.
