Have bot many Mountain House products for prep planning. Company has good reputation for good tasting, high quality products. Have many flavors for ease and for variety should I need to consume these.

Can't find a better deal or meal
Let me save you a considerable amount of time when searching for the right freeze dried backpacking food. Look no further but Mountain House. They are simply the best. They taste great, fill you up and you get a heck of a lot of protein for energy. There's enough in one to feed two, but if you are like me and you eat more than the average person, this one will do perfectly. Be sure to get them from Amazon, as they're at least $2 more anywhere else.

This food is aweful!
The reason I think this is the worst freeze dried food I have had in my life is. It is so god damn delicious that I can’t help but eat it when I am not camping! Why must you be so tasty mountain house?

I primarily chose this bc of good nutritional profile and is also a great base for a variety of meals if you want to change things up. I did note that the chicken is somewhat spongy, but it was satisfying.

Great for prepper.
We have 30 year old MH and it’s still great. So I bought this just in case. Did not taste that one but I’m sure when we need it we are happy. Never had bad MH!
