Worked like a champ for my HVAC thermostat
I replaced my faulty hvac transformer with this and it worked like a champ. The photos and answered questions in the listing for wire connections were more helpful than the printed instructions. Regardless, it was straightforward and simple. A quick double check on my wiring after installing and then my HVAC was back on business in under an hour of delivery.

Easy instructions for 1:1 DIY replacement of existing transformer
This product included clear instructions that made it very simple to replace, and had the exact mounting configuration I needed to do the swap-out with the defective unit very quickly. Once installed, the transformer provided the correct voltage to operate the signalling harness for my air handler and compressor.

Fixed my problem with a little research
I replaced a 30 year old transformer with this. Other than having to learn how the new one works, and what colors are what on the 24v side it was smooth.

Hunk o' Junk
These are cheap pieces of poop! Hooked it up according to color code vs. Voltage and smoked one and blew another. I have no clue what colors to use. Shoulda been org&wht for 240v pri input. I guess not?

Fingers crossed that the instructions\color codes in the listing are correct. Update, Hooked up per the instructions in the Amazon listing (NOT the paper one in the photo) Success! I'll change it to 4 stars .

Replaced a new unit (different brand) that burned up first night. Installed easy. Humms a bit loud but it's installed inside air handler and working great otherwise
