Perfect
It fits and works perfectly well. Used to eliminate ANC on a 2019 RAM. Helps adding a external amplifier without cutting or splicing OEM wiring. Recommended.

No more random low end vibrations
2019 Ram 1500 Rebel, 8.4 standard radio. I was getting random low end vibrations from time to time when driving around. I traced them to the speakers and after a little research found that is a common problem with active noisy cancelling in these trucks. After more research I found that people have solved this by removing some wires, but I didn't want to go that route. In that research I find these bypass modules. These work great! Super easy install, takes about 30 seconds. Works immediately! No more ANC, so no more ANC issues. Everything else works as it should (voice control, phone speaker, etc.). Much easier than removing wires and easily reversible if you want to go back.

It WORKED! "Drone" engine noise is gone!
Vehicle Info: 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab. 8.4" stereo display. Not the premium sound package (Not stock Alpine speakers).I replaced all 4 stock speakers in the doors and as soon as I went for a drive, the noise was immediately noticeable. It's tough to describe, but I guess a deep "droning" noise comes close. It sounded like the engine got way louder even though it was obviously operating as usual. Definitely will give you a headache if you had to deal with it for more than a few minutes. I was muffed at why the heck this was happening for sure. I've replaced dozens of speakers over the years and there really isn't much to it.......So, after doing a ton of research I learned that my truck (and many other vehicles nowadays) have what's called 'Automatic Noise Cancelling' or ANC built into the vehicles. Because of the specs of my upgraded speakers, they are able to produce these sounds that the crappy stock speakers can't do, hence creating this new, awful noise.I spent hours trying to find wiring diagrams and reading blogs and posts and forums and eventually I just decided to take a shot on this harness. It arrived in less than 24 hours, took less than 2 minutes to install, and right away, I took my truck for a spin around the block. VOILA! It's magically gone!Basically what the harness does is bypass the wiring for the ANC system in the vehicle. Everything else works, including phone calls and bluetooth, and as a matter of fact, my new speakers actually sound like they should now!I think the harness was $24 or $25 but I would have EASILY paid way more than that to get these kind of results!

Defective? Failed after a week of use
Bought this to turn anc off as many others have done. It seemed work well for the first week. I could tell anc was not functioning anymore and was easy to tell the increase in noise from vehicle vibrations or outside noise. However, about a week after having is installed, I started getting multiple warning notifications on the dash from seemingly unrelated things along with getting a low-frequency buzzing/droning noise that sounded like someone was slowly tapping on a very bass-heavy drum next to my ear. I unplugged the unit and all the warning lights and sounds disappeared. I tried plugging it back in, but the warning lights came right back on immediately, but this time the sound came back like white noise buzzing around. Not interested in trying this again. It's not worth possibly causing some kind of electrical issue to the truck.

Worked great in 2021 RAM 1500 5th GEN
I installed some aftermarket speakers in my 2021 5th gen RAM 1500 and started getting this weird droning sound. Thought I had something going wrong with my truck. Sounded like it wasn't downshifting, and it sounded like the exhaust was louder. Did a little research and found this is a pretty common issue and the fix is to bypass the ANC (Nose Cancellation) under the front driver's seat in my truck. Took 5 mins to install and fixed all my issues. I didn't notice any more road noise than there was before either, so no issues there. Never would have dreamed that this could be caused by upgrading speakers. Thankfully it's an easy fix.

Bought 2. 21 ram anc module amp up grade
OK I have a 21 ram. Used this to hook a amp and subs up. Have the anc module. But some reason the module and head unit after being off . Don't want to send signal. Have to reset it. I bought a 2nd one . And that helps reset the unit idk why this is happening

Used PAC product before, generally a decent item
On this bypass module the plug didn't lock into the speaker wire connector and my front speakers are starting to cut in and out. I did tape the connectors together Contacted manufacturer who said I should have a one year warranty through seller. Still hoping to resolve but Amazon just shows a 1 month return policy which has lapsed. PAC stepped up since Amazon didn't list the seller so I could contact them about the warranty they honored it even though the policy is the warranty goes through the seller. 5 stars now, not for the seller but for the manufacturer. I've used PAC products for some time and will continue to use them
