Rivet in buckle broke after two weeks
First: This belt does require that you cut it off to fit. You can do this with scissors. You can pretty easily remove the buckle from the buckle end, and cut it to size, and then put the buckle back -- just lift the locking lever in the back. There is no need to punch holes, and the belt will be too big if you don't do this. This was all as expected -- so far, so good! The nib on the buckle has a quite large ball on the end, which makes it somewhat hard to get it through the holes in the belt, especially for unbuckling. Not a huge inconvenience, but a little bit less of a fit than previous belts I've had. Also, looking at the buckle, it's not particularly flat polished -- you can clearly see tool marks in the flat areas around the logo. At a distance, nobody can tell a difference, but it certainly feels cheaply made rather than like a quality product that I'd expect at fifty bucks. Cheap belts cost a quarter of that. However, the real problem: After two weeks, the rivet in the buckle hinge on the bottom broke off, and the belt now only hangs on by a single rivet. This isn't usable like this. I might see if Amazon will take it back in its broken state -- could not find a warranty contact on the product page. See picture!
