Goal Zero Nomad 20
This is a great portable solar panel. It folds down to 7 by 11 inches which makes it easy to carry in a backpack and it does to weigh more than a few pounds. It has an 8 mm so it can be attached to a larger panel if needed.

Charges Everything
This solar panel works great. It charges our battery packs fairly quickly and stays standing even in some wind. I have no complaints.

Good quality
This is a very nice high quality solar panel. It’s only 20 watts, but, you can tell it’s going to last a long time. Happy I bought it.

As advertised.
Charges well. Does what it claims to do. Rugged! I abuse this thing and it works like new.

Gotta have it.
Such a great product and reasonably inexpensive. I have used it outside to charge a cell phone. I haven’t used it yet to charge my yeti but with as much as I’m outdoors I know that I will. If you spend a lot of time outdoors and need to keep your devices charges, I recommend this device.

It came quick and as advertised.
I plugged this used panel in and it works great. A little scratch on it, as advertised, but it works. That's all that matters. Thanks!

Disappointing Performance for a Solar Charger
I had high hopes for the Goal Zero Nomad 20, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. While it technically worked, the performance left a lot to be desired. • Slow Charging: The biggest issue was the incredibly slow charging speed. Even in full sunlight, it took far longer than expected to charge devices, making it impractical for use in situations where reliable power is essential. • Decent Portability: On the positive side, the foldable and lightweight design makes it easy to carry and pack, which is convenient for outdoor activities. However, this benefit is overshadowed by the poor charging performance. • Build Quality: The panel itself seems well-made, and the adjustable kickstand is a nice feature for angling it towards the sun. Unfortunately, these features don’t make up for its lack of efficiency. Overall, while the Goal Zero Nomad 20 has some good design elements, its underwhelming charging performance makes it hard to recommend. There are better options available that provide faster and more reliable power.

Returned. I also got a Flip 36 power bank because it has a nifty way of mounting to the back of the panel, which I found very slick. Tried it in sunny September weather, clear skies, in the sun for 9 hours, angled correctly, and turned every hour to face the sun. At the end of the day the flip 36 only had 2 of 5 bars lit. This was the best it did. The flip 36 can be charged in 7 hours with a nomad 7 panel, I figured the nomad 20 would do better. I tried charging my phone directly from the panel’s USB output, in direct sunlight at 1 in the afternoon, and it wasn’t putting enough power out to continuously charge my phone, the charge symbol would flicker on and off very rapidly. I assume that I would probably need 4 of these to charge my phone consistently. Maybe I got a dud, but at $250 this was an absolute waste of money. If you need solar, buy something else. Goal zero, in my experience with both of these units, is incredibly overpriced, and overhyped. Their goal is admirable, and the reason I broke the bank to get a 20 watt solar panel. The stuff is even made well, it just doesn’t work as advertised.
