They’re fine.

Ok, so the needles work well. They pierce as you'd expect. There's no issue with sharpness or sterility - they all come sealed and dated, which is great! The only problem I had is with the hand grip at the top. The ideal piercing (with a stud) would have the stud placed into the top of the needle then pulled straight through into the hole created as the needle is removed. One fluid motion! But the hand hold on this prevents this from happening, meaning that you have to a) pull the need out in the opposite direction to which it went in, stimulating more bleeding than necessary; and b) have to find both the entry and exit hole yourself post-needle removal. This can be tricky, and don't underestimate how quickly the holes will close! Overall a reasonable kit, but it would be advantageous to have a friend willing to pierce you, rather than doing it yourself.

These are so much more painful than regular needles! But so much easier to get your jewellery in after... It's a trade-off between comfort and ease of use I guess. Seems as though they are sterile but no way to know for sure so risk it for a chocolate biscuit if you dare
